Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not on a holiday park, extra safe in these corona times! In 2018 it has been completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best part is that it is in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own terrain of 1100m2! From the cottage you walk into the forest in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

Very spacious converted farmhouse for 10 adults. Children friendly. Available: Crib - chair. Toys and bedding with towels. Large garden with playground equipment and trampoline. Accessible to those with those with disabilities. Dogs are allowed after consultation. From Het Gebint you can walk to the woods within 10 minutes. Rural environment near the National Park and Dwingelderveld and Mantingerveld. For 2024, the city tax is €1.55 per person per night. To be charged upon departure.

Nice apartment with wood stove in school building

This fully independent and spacious apartment is located in a former primary school in the beautiful village of Gees. We live with our three children on the other side of the building and are currently renovating another classroom in the school. From the schoolyard you can walk directly into the nearby nature reserve via a small bridge. It is a quiet place, with a beautiful view, but with occasional noise from some construction work and children playing in the background during the day ;)

Colorful House

Our bungalow is perfect for 2 people in a very beautiful area in Drenthe. Large room, bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor ( 65 m2). Made up bed. Towels and kitchen linen are provided. Located on a bungalow park; all information about the park is on the site of "Het Hart van Drenthe". From our cottage, you can walk into the woods for a lovely walk. Bikes can be safely stored in the shed. We do cleaning ourselves. There is no TV and no dishwasher (yet).

Cottage on the Hei

Cottage on the Hei is located behind our farm on a large hectare of land, in a protected nature reserve just outside Dwingeloo in Drenthe. A special place, because you literally walk up the heath from our yard. No traffic, no neighbors, no crowds. The adventure starts on arrival, because in order to reach our cottage you must drive a short kilometer on a sandy road. This road is not accessible to traffic. Much quieter you won't get it in the Netherlands!

In the evening, lying on your bed, looking at the stars and the moon through the roof glass. Lovely natural garden with large terrace, hottub, outdoor shower and hammocks. In Dwingelderveld National Park, a beautiful area for walking and cycling.

Here you not only get a garden, but two: the spacious property consists of about 1,300 m², which is divided into two areas. At the front of the property is the country house with a large covered terrace. There is a jacuzzi for six and a cozy sitting area. You have the choice whether you want to read a book behind the house in peace and enjoy the beautiful view or play a game of football or badminton.
