Vacation rentals with breakfast in Midden-Drenthe

We immediately felt at home here; Georgia welcomed us warmly. We got a lot of tips about our stay. Breakfast was great and the eggs perfectly cooked; we will be happy to come back here

I had a lovely stay here! The place was very clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The host is incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly—it truly felt like staying with family. The location is a bit remote, so getting around might be a little inconvenient without a car or detailed planning. But if you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet place with a kind-hearted host, this is a wonderful choice.

Ria is an incredibly hospitable host with a very nice stay. The room I stayed in was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very neat and in the utility room a microwave was available to possibly warm up a meal. I have also noticed that Ria is very flexible with breakfast. If you are not allowed or do not like something, you can tell her Furthermore, the house is within walking distance from a bus stop, making it very accessible. Should I ever be in the neighborhood, I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly hosts and cats. The couple is very open and sweet and Susanna's response time is almost immediate. The beds were comfortable. A clean and comfortable environment :)

Alfred and Annalies are friendly hosts, who respond quickly to messages. We were kindly received and felt at home in the room. The room was large, tidy and clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was extensive and very tasty. The only downside for us were the pillows, these were a bit too thin and too soft for us, but otherwise everything was completely fine. Thank you Alfred and Annalies!

Just a one overnight stay en route to Finland, but a lovely visit. This is a wonderful place and your thoughtfulness and incredibly helpful neighbours stepping in in you hour of need is endorsement of your kindness and great hosting as mentioned so often in your guest book. Martin is a super nice host. Cozy and took us away to the restaurant. After returning to the beautiful garden. Departed after breakfast. Good conversations and nice and relaxing.

Slept here with my 10-year-old daughter for one night. Nice place to be together and everything present! The stairs up are considerable, but this is clearly stated in the description so we knew this. Tineke was so sweet to help with our luggage as I walk with a stool myself. We were positively surprised!

Our stay in Giethoorn was absolutely perfect! The little inn we chose was cozy, spotless, and everything we could have hoped for. The location was right on the canal, making it incredibly easy to take the boat out and explore the serene waterways. While the area is quieter in winter, that only added to the charm, creating a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond, preparing delicious and varied home-cooked breakfasts each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the clean and well-equipped kitchen (where my girlfriend and I enjoyed cooking dinner each night) to the excellent water pressure and warmth of the shower—something you truly appreciate during colder months. This was more than just a stay; it was an experience. The warmth, cleanliness, and attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to our return!

Martha was a wonderful host. Thw breakfast was the best we had in all of our Airbnbs across Europe. It was also great to explore the dutch countryside and get out of thd big cities.

Hosts were super friendly and location of Airbnb was perfect as it was very close to train station and grocery store and shops. Exactly what we were looking for and was very reasonably priced.

A great stay and perfect breakfast! A nice bed and good shower in a particularly attractive farmhouse in a quiet natural green area. Iris is doing well, communicates nicely and I'd love to come back.

Siska was a great host from the beginning, she was very friendly and welcoming! The room is light and spacious and had everything I needed. The house is not too far from the city center and is easy to reach. Even more so if you rent a bicycle - which I recommend, because Groningen is a great city to discover by bike. :) Oh, and Siska's breakfast is delicious, you don't want to miss it. We felt welcome with these friendly welcoming people. They have a beautiful garden with all kinds of cozy corners with unobstructed views that you can use.

What a nice b&b. We received a warm and friendly welcome, and it is a nice quiet place. The room is not very big but had exactly the two most important things we were looking for: Nice (and cared for with attention and love) breakfast and wonderful beds. We would love to come back here again!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

Ingrid was very welcoming, and made us feel at home. She even provided a hose so we could wash our bikes before storing in the barn. This is a very peaceful location in the middle of a beautifully preserved village which is a sort of living museum. We would certainly stay here again.
