Waterfront vacation rentals in Midden-Drenthe

Thank you very much Jolanda for your hospitality, it was very nice to be in the cabin, everything was enough, everything was provided, the only thing is that there is no air conditioning and it was very hot at check-in, but since we planned to walk during the day and get home in the evening, it did not frighten us, since in the morning and evening we felt great. The hostess gave great recommendations for nearby interesting places, which we took advantage of, thank you for this separately! We also visited the village of Giethoorn, it is amazing and not far at all. Overall, the vacation was wonderful, we recommend it.

We had an excellent stay! We were visiting family and exploring Friesland and this place was the perfect place for us to stay while doing so! Hella is so welcoming and greeted us when we arrived. The location was peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful view of a pond in the backyard and there were beautiful trails near the Airbnb. The Airbnb was an excellent home away from home while we traveled and if we were visiting in the area again we would definitely want to stay there again!

What a lovely place to sit with children! Really everything is available, they had a great time inside, felt completely at home. And also enough to do with them nearby. Myrna and Ton are very friendly and flexible. Thank you for everything!

Glamping was the first time for us. Was a little smaller than on pictures but was cozy. Coffee maker is with taps, there is not a toaster. The toilets and showers are outside. These are very clean. All staff are very friendly and helpful.

Robert is a very kind host. The accommodation looks cozy, is clean and with a lovely large garden on the lake. Breakfast was various good! Glad we could leave the trailer for the surfboard until after the competitions in the garden. In short, a very nice place to spend time.

What a great place to stay for a few days in this region! Ina's place was very comfortable and had plenty of room along with your own private waterfront seating area. The kitchen was stocked full of goodies for your stay and the bathroom shower (and spa bath) was very luxurious. Ina was a great host and provided the GPS coordinates to reach her property, as it is not shown accurately on the driving maps. Definitely worth a four or five night stay.

We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

We had a lovely stay! The Airbnb is on the farm with the hosts in a small annex. In general, we spoke to the hosts in person on arrival and departure, otherwise we only saw the two of them walking across the yard sometimes. But we had our privacy at all times and you didn't feel watched. The kitchen is well equipped and we rented the sauna for €40/3 hours, which can be reached directly through a door at the bedroom. That was a great experience! In addition, P+R is directly in Groningen for €6/5 persons/round trip. We can recommend the Airbnb!

We had a lovely stay despite the weather being a bit against us. The accommodation is complete and equipped with every comfort. Good bed, full kitchen, lovely shower. Location in nature. Beautiful for hiking and cycling. Contact with host was very pleasant. Worth repeating. Petri and René

We had a wonderful stay at this fantastic house! It is really perfectly appointed – everything you need is there, and it is super clean and spacious. The house is a real retreat to relax with lots of great extras such as the boat, whirlpool and perfectly equipped kitchen. The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful weekend. The house is very spacious, with several kitchens and dining tables, but everyone also fit at 1 dining table. There were plenty of plates and stuff, which was very nice. And it was all sparkling clean!

We had a great time in Dennis' super nice house. Everything is just right in this home. Beautiful layout of the house, perfectly equipped kitchen, great garden, comfortable beds, lots of activities (table tennis, billiards, darts...) and everything is clean. The house just impressed us. The location is also great. Close to the supermarket and nice hiking and biking trails in the area. The communication with Dennis was perfect. He was super responsive to messages. We can 100% recommend this place and will definitely be back.

We had a nice stay, everything was well taken care of. You can look away into nature, and you can walk directly from the house along the Vecht. Recommended!
