Our family loved the time we had at Todd’s cabin, it was exactly what we needed. The cabin is in a very peaceful, quiet setting. The beds were very comfortable, both adults and kids loved the jukebox and games, and being able to have a kitchen that was equipped with all the pots/utensils/things we needed was huge. It made cooking at the cabin for ourselves a breeze. Todd was a great communicator and we had no issues during our stay at all. Thanks again so much!

This was a great overnight rustic stay. The cabin was clean, cozy and peaceful. Host was responsive and answered all our questions. Stores are a bit of a drive away, so make sure you bring what you need for the night. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

Had a wonderful time here. The lake is beautiful, and if you like fishing a boat is provided. Lots of pike and perch here. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the host was welcoming and made the check process very easy. I would definitely stay here again with my family!

We loved the property of this cabin. It was beautiful and well maintained. The river was one of my favorite spots to read or have my morning coffee. There were many perks and amenities to this place that weren't listed online, like hammocks, campfire pokers, blow-dryer, yard games, fire pit, folding chairs, plastic storage containers, etc. And I loved all the buffalo plaid decor all around. The signs and decor were really nice too, So much to look at. My family had plenty of room inside the cabin to sleep and have their own space. There was also lots of outdoor seating and space outside on the property to come together for dinner or games. Nina was very responsive and gave clear instructions for entering and leaving the property. She was polite and made our stay pleasant. We would stay at this property again.

Quiet, secluded, comfortable, beautifully remodeled. We were wanting a quiet getaway, and this cabin did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. 10 out of 10 highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

Wonderful place to stay with my family and dogs for the weekend. Large kitchen, comfortable beds, a fenced in yard plus a wood burning sauna. The views were beautiful from the deck too right by the lake. Great spot to relax and would definitely love to visit again.

**Review of Our Stay at Teresa's AirB&B** If I could rate this place a 10, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked Teresa's AirB&B, my expectations were exceeded. I anticipated a simple house, but what we found was a fully stocked home that made us feel truly welcomed—perhaps I even overpacked! The cleanliness of the property was impressive; it looked exactly as depicted in the photos. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including kayaking and cozy bonfires in the backyard, which added to our memorable experience. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the proximity to the lake, just a few minutes away, made our stay even more enjoyable. We even drove up to Leland Mi “fish town” Overall, My 35th birthday was awesome! we had an amazing time and are already planning our return. Thank you, Teresa, for providing such a wonderful getaway! 😊

The grounds were beautiful, the coastal decor was perfect and the view was spectacular! Loved how drawers and light switches were labeled so no guessing games as to where stuff was. A fenced area for the dogs would’ve been icing on the cake but it didn’t detract from an amazing vacation in a gorgeous location! Would give 10 stars if that were an option.

This is a beautiful place to stay and Vince and Kristy are amazing hosts! It’s ideally situated to explore the region’s bike trails, wineries, cute small towns and hiking. The location is set a bit back from the road and beautifully landscaped, so we saw a lot of bird activity. The description is very accurate and it does share some space with a larger property, so it’s not secluded, though the way they have things set up (a wooden barrier separating the spaces) it does feel there is enough privacy. The cabin itself is extremely sweet and has everything you need, even a comfortable bed. Thank you for an excellent stay!!

This was a great spot for a quiet, relaxed girls weekend. Minutes to downtown Lexington. The short walk to the water was beautiful. The space was well cared for and nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend.!

The Yonder House is full of warm, nostalgic ambience! I so enjoyed my stay here while my husband worked the LSPR Rally. It was exactly what I was looking for and the description and photos are spot on! It was very clean and the friendly host has thought of everything you might need. We were able to connect to the internet when needed to check in on work back home. It was a treat to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book in the comfy recliner and take in the filtered views of a beautiful little lake. The fall colors were breathtaking this year and I hope to be back next year! Thank you Patrick, for sharing your little slice of heaven up here in the beautiful U.P.

Jesse’s property was beautiful inside and out. The cozy living area had every family game you could think of—we stayed up laughing and truly connecting. It was the break from electronics we didn’t know we needed, and it helped us be fully present with each other. The kids loved the little loft, accessible by ladder—it became their own magical hangout spot. The well water was clean and fresh, and the firepit in the backyard was perfect for roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the stars. Our time here brought us closer as a family, and it was hard to leave—we even shed a few tears. Thank you, Jesse, for creating such a peaceful and heartwarming space. We’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

Linda and Floyd were kind and welcoming-always helpful. I enjoyed my stay there very much. The cottage was spacious, peaceful, and there were little notes with instructions throughout the house so you knew how certain things operated. It's a wonderful spot. My pup and I enjoyed the screened in porch the most.... and wildlife watching.

We the great experience of being able to stay at both of Anjila's properties! The main things that stood out to us the most was how incredibly accommodating and friendly the hosts were and so responsive. I cannot say enough about them. And the spectacular view! WOW! To be clear, this is a unique set up with sharing the common areas outside and a wall with other guests but it works! We met the other family staying and they were super nice. Yes you do hear the other guests a little but to experience the views like these units offer and the friendliness of the hosts far make up for any possible "noise". It was never loud either. Both units have pluses. Both have great beds, space, incredible stock of spices (that was great as I always forgot those), and it seemed they had everything you could possibly want to have for a great outdoor experience! I truly hope we will be back. Thank you so much!!!

Wonderful lake house!

Travis’s place was as advertised. Great location for a weekend golf trip to Gull Lake View. Lovely neighborhood and close to restaurants and nightlife. Comfy beds and enjoyed the patio out back. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at a stunningly beautiful cottage. It is very spacious and open and the rich wood walls and floors gave us a very cozy and comfortable feel. We loved the view of the lake. It was my first week of retirement and they surprised us with retirement signs outside and decorations inside the cottage along with a card, and candy gifts! The cottage is stocked with everything you would ever need for an enjoyable stay. Denise and Roger were wonderful hosts and we were treated with the finest hospitality anyone could hope for. We are definitely returning again this year and we highly recommend this beautiful cottage and the hospitality that comes along with it!

We had a great last minute one night stay. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer. The lake is peaceful and stunning. Kayaking at sunset was the highlight of our overnight stay. We really appreciated the pellet grill. Our dogs loved the yard and hanging on the dock. The cabin was cozy, clean and we felt right at home. Would love to come back in the future for a longer stay! We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.
