The Amberg House - a Frank Lloyd Wright Original

Staying in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is a bucket list item for fans of America's most acclaimed architect. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. The Gingerbread House, respite in the woods.

If you are looking for a zen like place to get away for a few days, the Gingerbread House is perfect. Guests have separate and private apartment (with Smart Lock) on bottom floor of (occupied) home with private patio overlooking huge ravine. Our home is surrounded by over 20 acres of woods, yet we are only minutes from grocery, restaurants, golfing and beaches.
