Artepalermo is a Bed and Breakfast apartment in the heart of the historic centre of Palermo, on the top floor of an old, renovated house, without elevator and surrounded by lanes, churches, markets, washing, squares and terraces. You will live in the house of an artist and you can visit her studio. Your room is more than 25 square metres, it has a double and a single bed, a sofa, a bureau and a balcony. There is a shared sitting room, a shared dining room, a roof terrace, another atmospheric little terrace and a kitchen where you can also cook. You will have a private bathroom, but it is not in the room itself The furniture and the style of the apartment are basic with an artistic touch. There is free quick unlimited internet( fibre). As we are really in the heart of the centre you can walk within a few minutes to the food markets, supermarkets, flea markets, shops, restaurants, musea, port and parcs. It is less than 5 minutes walking to the sea! The centrale train station is at 10 minutes walking. In case you arrive by car (but you don't need it in Palermo) : you are not allowed to go into the old centre without a special pass ( the ZTL), but you can park on the Foro Italico (near Porta Felice is the nearest). If somebody asks you money, give him maximum 1 or 2 euros. We are a Dutch woman, a Tunisian man and a Sicilian dog. We speak English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Arabic.

The apartment is in the Albergheria district, near the Ballarò market, where you can enjoy typical cuisine and street food. You'll be centrally located, about 500 meters from the Cathedral and Central Station. The area is equipped with all services, shops and means of transport. The apartment is equipped with appliances, linen, television, Wi-Fi and all amenities. For stays longer than 7 nights, we offer a change of all necessary linens.

The recently renovated b&b is located in the center of Calatafimi Segesta, near bars, restaurants, supermarkets and several commercial activities. It is 5 km from the temple of Segesta, 15 from the beaches of Castellammare del Golfo and 28 from the gypsy reserve. At 45 km you can reach the beautiful salt flats of Marsala and 42 km from the city of Erice. In addition, the airports of Palermo and Trapani are equidistant, about 35 km away.

Situated in the center of Marsala, is possible to reach by walking the Wineries where you can taste the wine and the tipical local products, furthermore, if you continue the walking, you can find the Archaeological museums of Marsala. Not far from the tourist harbor where you can take a boat for the Egadi Islands ( Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo). Easy to reach by car or bus the bathing places or the famous "Saline di Mozia".

The Oriental Fumoir at Ballarò Market

I live in the most lively and popular part of the historical centre of Palermo, exactly at the beginning of the famous Ballartò Market, in a large flat with a fumoir with oriental decorations from the early decades of the 20th century. It is not a B&B, nor a hotel, it is a real house where I live and where I welcome my guests like old friends with whom I share a love for art, travel and the diversity of cultures.

The room on the second floor is spacious and bright, with new and linear furnishings. The evenings are cool, but there is a ceiling fan. The bathroom is spacious, equipped with a bathtub and a rainfall shower, accessible directly from the bedroom. We have reserved a portion of the terrace for drying towels and swimsuits.
