Piazza Mulino is 300 meters from the train station (which leads to Bari) and from the shuttle stop for Bari Airport. There are several bus stops just 50 meters away. To visit the Sassi, you cannot use a car; you must walk, as the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) begins very close to Piazza Mulino. For those who prefer to use public transport to reach the Sassi or the Murgia Materana Park and the Rock Churches, the "Sassi Line" and "Belvedere Line" bus stops are 300 meters away (tickets can be purchased on the bus or at nearby newsstands for half the price charged on the bus).
