Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Marsalforn

We really enjoyed our stay in Matthew & Elaine’s town house with our 11 month old daughter. Communication was friendly and fast and when we missed a baby chair Elaine came to bring it to us right away. It should be noted that there is a lot of construction going on, at both sides of the house, but it’s not on a all day every day basis so it didn’t bother us too much. The walk to the beach is beautiful and it’s also easy to walk to the town square with some bars. If you have a rental car the whole island is easily accessible. Last of all we really appreciated the ‘welcome package’ with some fresh produce. Thanks!

We had a very nice stay at Victor’s farmhouse in Xhagra. The location must be one of the closest to Ramla Bay that are available as vacation rentals. The beach can even be reached by a nice walk (when it’s not too hot). The shortest drive to the neighboring village Nadur actually passes through Ramla Bay. The house itself is beautiful, cozy, has all that’s needed for a family or group vacation, has a nice pool and BBQ, and last but not least you can see the Mediterranean from the house. One potential issue for guests who are sensitive to noise from neighbors (or worries about own noise), while the walls are thick, they are not sound proof, so we could hear some noise from the neighbors at times. Overall a very respectful and quiet neighborhood, however. Victor was a great host and always available with friendly support when needed (like asking for extra sheets etc.)

We stayed at Duncan's place for nearly 3 months. Felt very much at home. The location was ideal and very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house and in Gozo. Would thoroughly recommend.

This place is absolutely stunning. So peaceful, both inside and out in the beautiful garden. Authentic & historic. The local village and area are very interesting to walk around - I recommend the Zebbug loop (if you don't mind a steep hill!) Very well stocked, even a bottle of prosecco was provided, beach towels, etc. Ana was very helpful, recommending local beaches and restaurants, and always responsive, kindly allowing me a late checkout on the last day. My one comment, as someone else has said, is it should be made clearer in the description that the place is all really one room, with no real separation between bedroom, kitchen and living room. This doesn't matter if you are 1 or 2, but may affect groups of 3 depending on their makeup, as there is no real privacy.

Great hosts….and a lovely chance to stay in a historic dwelling in a traditional neighborhood. There’s a rooftop deck, a jacuzzi, a beautiful kitchen, this place has it all!

Have just returned from 2 fabulous weeks at Christian and Lara’s beautiful farmhouse and fully concur with the previous positive reviews. If anything the whole experience exceeded our expectations from first communication to the day we left. There is a parking space but car rental really isn’t necessary as the bus service is excellent and provides access all over the island. A 7 day bus pass (tallinja card 25€) allows unlimited travel on all services on Malta and Gozo including the express bus to and from the airport. Taxis are plentiful and good value with an Uber from Gozo ferry terminal to the property for under 10€. The hourly Gozo fast ferry is also great value and takes only 45mins to Valletta. Christian and Lara are lovely hosts and they have obviously put in a great deal of effort and attention in providing everything you need to make your holiday truly memorable. Absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending.

We had a great stay at Joe and Lillian's lovely place. They were super-helpful giving us clear instructions and directions, as well as good tips for local places to go. We had one question while we were there and Joe responded straight away. He also took the trouble to call to make sure we were OK after a storm swept over Gozo one day (thankfully the storm didn't stay!). The property is really comfortable and full of character and rustic charm. We loved the upstairs terrace which is a gorgeous sun trap and we also enjoyed spending time in the lovely garden enjoying the afternoon sun. The location is nice and quiet and the village square is within walking distance - in addition to the impressive church it has a few good places to eat drink and have coffee - we tried most of them! We really enjoyed the walk to one of the local bays which Joe had recommended, and all in all really loved our second visit to the island of Gozo.

What a fantastic property this is! So much charm, character and tonnes of space. Everything was so clean and tidy. So much attention to detail. Daniel and his wife Mary are lovely, kind hospitable people. They were very responsive with any questions we had. The property is situated in a very quiet area in the charming village of Kerċem. It is walkable to Victoria (Rabat) the capital of Gozo in about 20 mins or about 7 minutes by car. At night time it was so quiet, we slept very peacefully. There is practically everything you could need for a comfortable and restful stay. We would not hesitate in recommending this property and it will stay on our ‘favourites’ list for future trips to Gozo for years to come!!

We had a fantastic stay at Frank’s apartment. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed — plus lots of thoughtful extras in case you forget anything. Frank was a great host, providing a very detailed guide to the island with plenty of recommendations for things to do and places to see. He also made sure we had a solid plan for getting to the airport on time, which really helped take the stress out of our last day. Overall, a very positive experience in a beautiful country — we only wish our trip had been longer!

Beautiful place in a great location, excellent value. It was wonderful to discover Gozo with such a nice base to come back to.

We had wonderful stay in the apartment! Contact with Michella was very good all the way, from booking till the end, she was responding very fast. The apartment is just like in photos, it impressed all of us (we were in group of 6). The most impressive is of course the terrace and the view!! The apartment is very very spacious, it is very comfortable for group of 6. Kitchen is equipped in everything you need, there was some food prepared/from previous guests, salt, pepper, spices etc. The only 2 things that we can comment are that beds were too soft for our liking and there were problems with getting right temperature on bbq (we appreciate the help obtained with bbq because as soon as we mentioned it to Michella, there arrived a man who was trying to solve the problem and it was on Sunday). There is private parking in garage, there was also space to park around the building. We highly recommend to stay in this apartment in Zebbug, Gozo! :)

Cher Ann has a beautiful place with a great view of the little harbour. Everything is at walking distance and a variety of restaurants. The host is especially friendly and helpful and even mailed something we forgot to pack, free of charge.

We had great time at Del Mar Apartment should we go back to Marsalforn we would come back here for sure.

The apartment is quite spacious, in particular the kitchen. The location is quiet in a small street. We have never met the host but the check-in process works and the communication was good. The kitchen is well equipped and the heating worked well in the living room (in January it can get cold). In the bathroom there was no heating so it can get a bit cold and in the two bedrooms the air conditioning (in our case used as heating) is shared so it is not very effective. Also due to the hole caused by the shared air conditioning, the two bedrooms are acoustically connected so you can hear every noise in the neighboring room. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Jim!

We were a group of four who used Alexander's apartment. Met Alexander's wife at check-in, incredibly nice and helpful. They responded quickly to messages if we had questions. The apartment was as expected according to the pictures and description. Great location where restaurants and the beach were right nearby. We were very happy with them, and warmly recommend them to others☀️

A quiet nice comfortable place with impressive views. Clean accomadation with all amenities required for our stay were available. A very helpful host. Sure a place to go back to.

This is a fabulous, spacious, modern apartment. Everything looks new, and it's amazing value for money. Very good aircon is included, which I used sparingly, as it's expensive for the host. Location is between Ramla beach (best in Gozo) and Xaghra village (lovely square with about 8 good restaurants/bars). Both are about 15 min walk, or 5 euros in a Bolt. Host was excellent, really helpful & friendly, fast responses to queries. Allowing me late checkout was very much appreciated. Wifi was perfect. Small supermarket J+M stores is only 550m walk away down a pretty country lane. Gozo is such a good place to get away from the rat race and unwind a bit. I very much enjoyed exploring on a 125cc moped from hire company in Marsalforn. I would definitely come back to this apartment, it was a lovely stay, thank you :-)

Such a great find, we loved the pool and hot tub! Rooms were clean and we pretty much had everything we needed. Location perfect for what we wanted and was easy to get about with Bolt. Local area not the prettiest but good selection of restaurants/bars and we had a an amazing time and can highly recommended

The host was very responsive and understanding when we asked to move our check-in time earlier, which we really appreciated. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s also well located, close to both the beaches and the city center.

Lovely, spacious apartment that was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Really well located too, with a supermarket immediately next door and lots of shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk. If you’re up for a longer walk you can even get to Sliema within 15 minutes. Really easy to jump a taxi to Valletta and anywhere else on the island too, or there’s a bus stop right outside the supermarket. Jane was a super host, letting us check-in early and responding within seconds to rescue us when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the building!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, plus some lovely extras like fresh coffee and an ironing board. The washing machine’s 15-minute cycle was especially handy for a quick turnaround of clothes. The views from the apartment were extraordinary, both during the day and at night. We didn’t use any of the common areas of the apartment block and wouldn’t have used the pool, so we can’t comment on those. The apartment was ideal for our holiday. We had a car and spent our 10-day stay exploring Gozo and Malta with ease. We would happily stay again if the mattress is replaced—it was very, very uncomfortable. Aside from that it was a great stay. Thank you!

We appreciated the use of a washer but we only needed to use the dryer once as there was a clothes rack available and with the hot weather in Gozo the clothes dried in a half day in the house on the rack. Also there were some cooking supplies available and other supplies stocked when we came which made it so much easier when we walked in the door that we didnt have to rush out to buy shopping right away after a long flight. We had a couple of little repairs that had to be done such as plugs for kitchen sink and told Clayton we replaced us and he immediately refunded us the cost which was very nice of him.

We stayed in four properties during our trip to Malta & Gozo. This was by far the most professional and communicative host with the highest standard. The property has been cleverly thought through- from potato peelers and cheese graters to deckchairs- they are excellent quality. You are made to feel that you are valued and the host has not provided you with cheap utensils. The finish overall was amazing. It was well stocked with everything- indoor and pool towels. The tv is easy to use- we got Amazon Prime working easily. The pool is gorgeous and very peaceful. We felt safe as a family of four and found getting places using Bolt no problem.

Absolutely amazing stay! Ray and Rosie are wonderful hosts — so warm and attentive. The place is spotless, beautifully maintained, and truly feels like home. Every detail is thoughtfully done. Would love to come back!
