The lights on the right of the cover picture are the ones of our family house in Forno. The village is located at the end of the Biodola bay on Elba island. This home was built by boat by my grand-mother, a painter who had fallen in love with the place. We manage it for the family. It is located at the limit of the national park, and hence still only accessible by boat or by foot today. It has a private (stone) beach just below the house, and easy access to a small sand beach close to the house.

The apartment is on the sea and enjoys a cool and shaded terrace, with a direct view of the characteristic village of Pomonte surrounded by mountains until it slopes towards the cliffs on the left and the pebble beach on the right and the sea is slightly visible from the side of the terrace. The apartment has been recently renovated, consisting of a bedroom, a private bathroom, and a living room with a sofa bed. The house is bright, overlooking the sea, in a natural area surrounded by the scents of Mediterranean vegetation and the crystal clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Its proximity to the sea makes it perfect for those who do not want to travel by car. It has a private parking lot, under the house, on the property.
