Monthly Rentals in Manitoulin Island

We had a wonderful stay. Wilda could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The apartment was really comfortable and we had everything we needed and more! So many options for breakfast food we were spoilt for choice. We did not want to leave and would love to return.

What an awesome place to stay. Melanie was super responsive and had lot's of information about local things to see and do. We loved the quiet, peaceful setting, enjoyed hiking, walking the beach, visiting Gore Bay, and the local museum. We would certainly stay here again if we're back on the island. We adjusted to "island time" right away and didn't want to leave.

Manitoulin Permaculture is a wonderful diverse community of warm, friendly and welcoming people from all over the world. I was welcomed warmly and instantly made to feel like I was part of the family/community. My stay was short, but I sense that the friendships will last a long time. This is a working Permaculture Farm with lots of opportunity to observe and to help out if you so choose. The Lotus Bell tent is lovely. It is well set up with a very comfortable bed, lots of blankets to keep you warm on chilly nights, a small table and good lighting with a power bar to plug in your computer or cell phone if necessary. The owners keep it very clean. It is situated in a very private location if this is important to you. The private outdoor toilet is rustic and very clean. The AirBnB Kitchen is part of the main house. It is well supplied with a fridge, countertop appliances, dishes and cutlery. I look forward to staying here again when I next return to Manitoulin.

We loved our stay here at the Cedar Rose! Very quaint and peaceful cabin with a really cool off-grid experience. The smell of the cedar and surrounding nature put us to sleep every night like babies and woke up super refreshed! Sarah and Scott were extremely helpful in the rundown of how things work and other things we needed throughout our stay. Will definitely be back!!
