Family-friendly vacation rentals in Manatee River

Just returned from another great stay at Kayla’s place. Everything was fantastic, the backyard pool and jacuzzi were amazing. We also really appreciate Kayla’s responsiveness. Looking forward to returning next year!

Absolutely worth it. We spent time on Manatee Beach, had great dinners at the Ugly Grouper, Anna Maria’s Oyster House and Marina Jacks which was more upscale. The house was super clean and very comfy. Last eve was spent in pool and hot tub. Also owners were responsive to any requests. i would recommend this place and stay again myself. We also rented a catamaran 3 hour tour 😉 at Kathleen D’s. very nice.

Super clean, quiet, comfy bed. We enjoyed the bayside pool. Nice views. Palm Bay club nice benefit as after a short walk over to the beach we enjoyed the chaises delivered and set up close to the water and hole drilled for our beach umbrella. Amazing sand is not over rated. Warm gulf waters and easy entry and exit. Breeze Trolley with their app made getting around without driving convenient . Lots of fun food and shops minutes away. This bayside spot a was a delight.

Fabulous space with an outstanding location. Walked to get all groceries and eat at wonderful restaurants. Pool area was nice with afternoon sun and just steps to the beach. Thanks Margie!

This house is the perfect old school Florida beach house! Daniel sent an email with all the information. Details all were accurate that I did not need to ask any questions. He also followed up to make sure check in was ok. Photos are accurate. So much space. Multiple areas to entertain inside and outside to settle into. Large dining room table and smaller kitchen table. Has all the supplies needed. Used the grill for burgers and brats. Even paid extra for the hot tub. Cool air conditioning and numerous fans. Close to walkable restaurants and beach. Love, love, love this house and we hope to stay at again one day! (Side note: It is the whole second floor and access was by stairs only. Not a problem for us. Kitchen does not have a dishwasher and again not a problem for us.) Thanks again!

We loved the pool and hot tub. Ben was very responsive when I asked about if there was a speaker we could use and he dropped one off at the front door within minutes. Great location and price was reasonable. We would Definately stay again!

Roy’s place was comfortable, had good amenities, good location ( multiple beaches and restaurants in a close radius). The house was beautiful and just as described. The pool/hot tub, and outdoor seating was private and well maintained. Chairs, umbrella, and cooler were available to use which was a nice plus. We would definitely love to stay at this place again. Roy was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Daniel’s condo in Bradenton. It was very clean, updated, quiet,and spacious with great amenities in the complex. We highly recommend this rental to couples or families. Daniel also provided perfect communication and local recommendations. Very convenient area with great access to grocery and 15 minutes to beaches at Anna Maria Island.

We had a great stay in Sarasota! The house was in great condition, and we enjoyed the neighborhood and how close it was to everything.

This place was a great home away from home for the week! It was clean, comfy, and cozy. It was in a great location, being about a 10 minute walk from some of the best local restaurants, and about 15 from downtown! We found a great breakfast spot I would highly recommend, called The Breakfast Company. Would definitely stay there again!! Great price and Erin was a great host with prompt and helpful responses when needed!!

This was our second time staying at Lubos pool house. We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking far time to escape back. Great location near restaurants, stores and beaches. Back yard and pool are a dream and very peaceful.

We had a wonderful time in Sarasota. Maureen and Patrick are clearly hosting pros. The kitchen was well-stocked, so we cooked most of our meals, made coffee/tea in the mornings, and kept groceries from the nearby Publix in the fridge. We enjoyed making dinner and sitting out on the screened in porch. The neighborhood was very residential and safe. The bathrooms and bedrooms were well-stocked and comfortable. Five college girls slept comfortably across the three rooms and I would say one more could definitely have fit as well. The house had a carport with a washer and dryer with detergent, beach chairs, umbrellas, and puzzles. Even when it rained, we enjoyed sitting in the house and reading because the space was relaxing and comfortable If you’re planning on going to the beach, download the Bayrunner/Breeze Rider apps to catch the free trolley. The trolley was a short walk away through the neighborhood and we enjoyed riding to the beach every morning.

Home is located in a modest, quiet neighborhood. For the most part our stay was quiet and peaceful. The interior is spacious and neatly kept. It has everything you would need for an extended stay. Having access to the entire garage and first floor laundry was a nice perk. There is a lanai off of the back of the house with a nice sitting area. The backyard is completely fenced in and very spacious. Our 2 dogs enjoyed their time out there. The house manual is very informative and gave us many options for things to do. With all of the positive attributes, there were a few negatives. The front door is in horrible shape. It does have a keypad entry system with a deadbolt but the bottom is chipped up and bowing. There was a downed power line in the front yard. There was caution tape all over it so it’s obviously been marked as an issue. I’m assuming it was from hurricane damage??? Lastly it is an older house and could use some touch ups outside and some updates inside. Would def stay again

Great stay at Alex's place. It was exactly as described. Walkable, safe area. I initially was concerned about the street parking, but Alex explained it completely and it was never a problem. I would definitely stay again.

The Sandpiper was the perfect airbnb for our small group. Having the 4th bedroom and 3rd bath that could be used from the private pool was perfect. The fenced in backyard made it great for our friend's dogs to run. The kitchen had everything we needed and allowed us to cook in daily. Proximity to grocery was great and with a few extra people who stopped by to visit, the 24 hour Denny's four houses up allowed us extra parking and less congestion of cars around the house. This airbnb gets a five star rating.

We had a very good time at Siesta Key and enjoyed our time at Maureen's place. The building is older, the amenities are well maintained and the condo itself is well cared for. I did find some mystery stains on the mattress and the decorative pillows in my room, but I'm guessing they are just spills that were difficult to get out. More importantly, the boat dock is usable, albeit with some difficulty if the boat is larger than 22 feet or so. We figured out on the second day that the best way to dock was parallel to the intracoastal between the posts and to tie off with lines on either side of the stern and with a single line on the bow. I would check ahead to make sure the dock is available, but we had no other boats docked there on a holiday weekend. The private beach access was a lifesaver on a holiday weekend, despite the short walk required to get there. Having both intracoastal and beach access is the biggest value of the place in my opinion.

We had a GREAT time at this house! Pool area was AMAZING! Great for a family with kids, plenty of beach toys/coolers/lawn chairs. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our visit to TwinPalms very much! The home was in a wonderful location on the island! The home is beautiful, and is equipped with anything you may need! Kathleen was so very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and made our visit seamless! The love and effort Kathleen puts into your visit could not go unnoticed! Really appreciated the materials she provided on everything to do on the island listing the restaurants with her personal reviews was helpful!

Solen was an amazing host—very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. She even brought us a brand-new can opener when we needed one! The house was spotless, cozy, and located in a great area. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot right across from Sarasota Beach! Quiet, very clean, great pool, and very responsive host! We loved our stay and have favorited Vanessa as a host so we can check out her properties when we come back. Highly recommend this host and property for your trip to Siesta Key.

Just want to begin by saying how appreciative I was of Michelle and her husband. They were super responsive and attentive to all of our requests/questions. We have stayed at numerous high-class locations and this was by far my favorite. The price compared to nearby locations was worth every dollar. The home was very welcoming, modern, and just overall paradise. Absolutely loved the swimming pool and dock right off of the back of the house. The space was very well designed. The location was within 15 minutes of everything we could have asked for out of the island. 11/10 I would recommend to anyone looking to have an amazing, peaceful retreat.

This place was just as lovely as the pictures described. Joanna was very responsive and her place was immaculate. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and were near many great locations and restaurants. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We had an amazing time at Happy Home. The pool and screened in patio were highlights for our family. The backyard was a little oasis. We appreciated how organized the house was with labels on lighting, kitchen draws, and cabinets. The binder with house reminders and local recommendations was helpful. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and pots, pans, dishes. The dedicated office space was helpful since my husband was working remotely. I also loved all the original artwork and beautiful lighting. Happy Home is walking distance to a few local restaurants and a super cute cafe/used book store, Shelf Indulgence. The little beach in the bay is a super close walk and made going to watch the sunset and see boats easy and relaxing. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.
