It’s location in Kirkwall is perfect… The cathedral is right down the street and there is a market as well as a specialty market right across the road. The apartment itself is decorated beyond words and feels like home. We cooked at home and relaxed in the beautiful living room after full days of exploring the islands. The place to stay in the area. If it's free, book it. Perfect location with amazing sunsets over the water each night. Easy to get in and out of the driveway. Well stocked kitchen, excellent shower, the bed in the first room is super comfortable [only one used], and the sun room was perfect to relax in. Little garden out front for the dogs and a nice picnic table to eat outside. Overall a wonderful place.

An upstairs bedroom features a spacious bed with crisp white linens and two rolled towels placed at the foot. A large angled window allows natural light to brighten the room. Two bedside lamps provide additional lighting, and a wardrobe is visible on one side.

Fab house, beautifully presented. Small but nicely equipped kitchen. Easy walk to big coop and lovely Stromness and all amenities. Just a few minutes from the ferry and easy to park at the property. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Jackie and Dave have created a very special and exceptionally comfortable and well equipped place on the stunning Sanday shoreline, which was beyond our expectations. The perfect place to stay and enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife, including an otter, that the beautiful island of Sanday has to offer. Our beardie Stormy loved the secure garden.

Beautiful space. As a family we enjoyed cooking together & playing games in the evening. The hot tub was great, we used it everyday. The views from every room were amazing and it was so peaceful and tranquil. Local neighbours farmers and the wildlife were all very friendly. It was welcoming from the moment we arrived. Ideally located to visit places and a short drive into Kirkwall. Would highly recommend and define visit again. Very friendly and accommodating hosts!

This apartment was in a perfect location and very quiet. The building has history which we always enjoy finding out about. We spent a beautiful 8 nights on Orkney. We didn’t have a car and it was easy to get around using tours, public transportation or taxis.

Great apartment. Very clean and well appointed. Great location in that you were very close to everything the only downside was that on the Saturday night the noise from the young folk waiting for taxis was horrendous. Between 12-2 am none of us could sleep and that was with the windows shut and earplugs in . But for the noise on the Saturday night I would have scored higher.
