Wonderfully light and comfortable accomodation in excellent position.Allocated parking was marvellous. Flat 8 on 3 floor which was good exercise after a meal out or a day walking on the island. Tesco superstore within 10 minutes walk . I highly recommend this accommodation .

Easy to get to everywhere from here and lovely local dog walks just across the road. This place is wonderful for dogs, even a nice spot for their beds in the utility room. Bert greeted us with a wonderful platter of cheese and biscuits and lovely fresh flowers, so kind.

The Lookout had everything we needed and more. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and full extra little touches: Karen really has thought of everything. The location is ideal for exploring Kirkwall and beyond, and the building itself has a fascinating history. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying at Northlight Apartments.

Jorvik is a really comfortable, clean and light property within easy walking distance of Kirkwall centre. Simon is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful with recommendations of his favourite spots, especially tearooms! Simon met us at the property even though we arrived off the late night ferry and was very thorough in his explanations of how everything worked. After a long journey, we didn't take all of this in, but there are plenty of written instructions around the property as well. We were a party of 5 adults and had plenty of space in Jorvik. We found it a great base for exploring Mainland Orkney and relaxing in the evenings. There was plenty of information about the area to read in the property too. We would definitely stay again.

Fab house, beautifully presented. Small but nicely equipped kitchen. Easy walk to big coop and lovely Stromness and all amenities. Just a few minutes from the ferry and easy to park at the property. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Jackie and Dave have created a very special and exceptionally comfortable and well equipped place on the stunning Sanday shoreline, which was beyond our expectations. The perfect place to stay and enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife, including an otter, that the beautiful island of Sanday has to offer. Our beardie Stormy loved the secure garden.

Sharon’s place is comfortable and has everything you need to make it home away from home. The location is excellent with all things just minutes away. Stromness Ferry Port is 10 minutes away and all the shops of Kirkwall are 20 minutes. All of the typical attractions are at most 15 minutes away. Definitely, a great place to stay. Thank you!

Great location, very close to the ferry port and within easy reach of many Orkney attractions, yet in a quiet and peaceful side street. The place itself is one of the best I've stayed at, it was clean, bright and well equipped, with lots of nice little touches such as shortbread and fresh flowers. Host was always responsive and gave lots of useful information. Would definitely recommend.
