The black sand house is one of a kind. We spend the second half of our honeymoon staying in the home and will not soon forget the views, the charming town, and the serenity of the natural surroundings. Susana and Rita were delightful hosts. So impressed by their friendliness and great communication. They welcomed us with delicious local goodies and a bottle of wine. Truly felt like a luxury experience. We hope to be back one day!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig, aber dennoch gut angebunden. Mit dem Auto waren alle wichtigen Orte schnell und unkompliziert erreichbar, was für uns perfekt war. Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns direkt gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ein besonderes Plus war, dass wir am Abreisetag erst um 13 Uhr auschecken konnten. Das hat uns den Morgen deutlich entspannter gestaltet und war wirklich sehr entgegenkommend. Die Unterkunft selbst war äußerst sauber und gepflegt – man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und Wohlfühlatmosphäre gelegt wird. Der Pool war ein echtes Highlight: sauber, schön angelegt und ideal zum Entspannen inkl. Sonnenuntergang. Insgesamt eine rundum gelungene Erfahrung, die wir gerne weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Ons verblijf bij Philippe was echt fantastisch. Het uitzicht is prachtig, vanaf het balkon kijk je neer op Paul do Mar en je hoort de oceaan vanuit de kamer. Alles was aanwezig wat dit tot een perfect verblijf maakte voor ons. Het was super. Philippe gaf ons ook leuke en handige tips voor in de omgeving, van wandelroutes tot restaurants.

Ohne Übertreibung: es war einfach unglaublich schön und eines der schönsten Unterkünfte die wir je gebucht haben. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen, die Wohnung toll, Küche toll (haben viel gekocht), der Gartenbereich mit Pool und Wahnsinns-Ausblick toll, die Putdoorküche toll, wunderschöne Pflanzen und Blumen überall. Die Gastgeber herzlich, stets erreichbar bei Fragen, einfache Kommunikation. Wir wollen gerne irgendwann wieder kommen. Absolut traumhaft!

Wir haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Rustikal aber sehr gemütlich. Die Lage, der Blick über die Berge und in die Wolken war einfach magisch und man konnte sich garnicht sattsehen. Durch den Kamin im Wohnzimmer und dem tollen Außenkamin zum kochen/grillen auf der Terrasse war es es einfach perfekt. Toll war auch, dass das Feuerholz kostenlos und reichlich zur Verfügung steht. This place in Madeira was hands down the most amazing Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Everything was perfectly clean and thoughtfully organized. There was even an outdoor cabin with a washing machine, which was super convenient, especially when traveling with kids. But the highlight? The view. I’ve stayed in many places, but I’ve never seen a view like this from an Airbnb. Truly breathtaking — you could just sit and take it in for hours. The house is perfect for families, and the location couldn’t be better. You can easily reach every part of the island from here, making it a perfect base to explore beautiful Madeira. Communication with the host was also excellent — kind, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire stay. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sofort wie zuhause gefühlt.Das ist eine richtig kleine Oase mit einem wunderschönen Gärtchen. Nach den Wanderungen haben wir es genossen,uns im Pool abzukühlen und auf der herrlichen Terrasse auszuruhen. Im Ort gibt es mehrere Restaurants für Frühstück oder Abendessen. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit,gefiltertes Wasser abzufüllen oder auch die Möglichkeit,unsere Wäsche zu waschen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese traumhafte Unterkunft auswählen. Einfach nur schön.

It was an incredible stay at an incredible place! Jardim do mar is a beautiful village, there is much to explore and see even if you don’t have a car. There are a lot of really cute and friendly cats and dogs in the area, much like all of Madeira. The location of UNI studios is fantastic, really close to both the village centre and the promenade by the ocean. Jota, the host, spotted us walking through the village with our luggage and kindly helped us to our unit :) he was helpful and available all throughout our stay and made sure everything was perfect. The unit itself is fully stocked with anything you could need, and is so clean! It’s also so aesthetically pleasing… It really feels like a breath of fresh air. There’s an herb garden with over 5 different types of mint and all these other healing herbs. There are retreats and events that happen at the communal pool, which you’re welcome to join. And the pool is a fantastic place to meet sunrises and sunsets. Thank you so much!

For anyone who wants a secluded beautiful home with amazing views look no further. This house is even better than described and so well equipped. We loved every moment and Fillip was a wonderful host, who was there to meet us and provide helpful recommendations. We ate at his fantastic restaurant and it was wonderful too. We were also very appreciative of the welcome gifts. A wonderful holiday in a beautiful area and amazing home.

Een mooi appartement waar echt alles in zit. Super fijne keuken met uitgebreide voorzieningen, heerlijke douche en een prima bed. Een lekkere bank, mooi uitzicht en een grote eetkamertafel voor een spelletje. De instructies waren duidelijk en ze geeft veel informatie, ze doet echt moeite om ons tot onze dienst te zijn.

Liebe Paula, wir haben uns in deiner Unterkunft rundum wohlgefühlt. Dein kleines, cozy Tiny House hat ein ganz besonderes Flair – liebevoll durchdacht bis ins kleinste Detail, geschmackvoll dekoriert und blitzsauber. Die Aussicht hat uns einfach nur geflasht – so schön und beruhigend! Der Check-in war total unkompliziert und herzlich, was unseren Aufenthalt von Anfang an besonders gemacht hat. We had a lovely stay! Very peaceful and relaxing location with beautiful scenery. Hire car is a must for getting around (if you ever want to leave) but very close to main roads so easy to get around the island. The hosts provided lots of helpful guides and recommendations: the sunshine bar & grill was perfect! The accomodation was clean and well equipped which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Madeira is a beautiful place with lots to explore and returning to this accomodation was a treat after long days!

Connie hat uns super freundlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt, sowie Empfehlungen gegeben. Neben einem Wein und Begrüßungsschild bekamen wir einen leckeren Salatkopf aus ihrem Garten - lecker. Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum und bestens geeignet zum entspannen, sonnen und tollen Frühstücks morgens! Die frischen Brötchen konnten wir von einem nahen gelegenen Bäcker+Supermarkt jeden Tag holen. Die Lage ist super für Tagestrips, wir haben in den 10 Tagen die ganze Insel kennengelernt. Danke Connie und Johnny! :-)

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in der Unterkunft ! Alles war genau wie auf den Bildern und in der Beschreibung – sauber, gut ausgestattet und mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! Everything was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The view was absolutely stunning, and the pool quickly became one of our favorite features. It truly felt like a home away from home. Communication with the hosts was smooth and pleasant throughout.
