Het huisje heeft een unieke sfeer, tot stand gebracht met materialen uit de oude tijd. Het staat achter op ons erf, heeft uitzicht over de weilanden, het bos en de dijk. Zomers grazen de koeien van het naastgelegen boerenbedrijf in de wei, zwemmen de eenden en meerkoetjes in de sloot. Regelmatig zie je een ooievaar of een ree! Met het geluid van de koekoek, de kievit of de uil, ervaar je de natuur heel dichtbij! Vanuit de serre of vanuit de grote tuin zie je in de ochtend de zon opkomen.
