Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Luton

I had a wonderful stay. I was born and bred in Ampthill and I needed a place to stay so that I could visit my family. This was absolutely perfect and Mark and Nicole were wonderful hosts. I was made to feel very welcome, and having Mark and Nicole living right next door was very helpful. It was very nice to get to know them and they were always willing to help if I needed anything. (Which I didn’t because they had already thought of EVERYTHING). The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The house is in a perfect location, short walking distance away from the town, but far enough away from being in the hustle and bustle of the busy town centre. I would absolutely like to stay here again the next time I visit my family.

What an interesting and quirky place to stay! If you want to step back in time with modern amenities then this is the place for you. Cygnet Thatch has a fantastically well-equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms, comfy beds and a huge log fire. A great find:)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage was brilliant and nice and close to the high street with a good range of places to eat. Great communication from Gonny. Family in the area so will hopefully come again.

Back Door Cottage was perfect for our short stay in the area. Everything had been planned and thought through so carefully and imaginatively. The equipment and facilities were particularly impressive, especially given the cosy size of the cottage. It all worked very well and we were very comfortable. Thank you, Lynne, for providing such a great, temporary home for our visit.

Amazing London flat! BEST check in (with John) we’ve ever had at Airbnbs- he is amazing & u will want him to stay & socialize after he aptly explains home features & mini instructions! Public transit is close & walkable from flat which is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood Highly recommend staying here if you want to explore London!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Hussains Wohnung. Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben und gut ausgestattet – vom Toilettenpapier bis hin zu vielen Gewürzen war alles da. Einziger Kritikpunkt war die fehlende Möglichkeit das Hauptschlafzimmer ganz abzudunkeln. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut – die Gegend ist, bis auf den Verkehr, sehr ruhig und es gibt viele tolle Restaurants in der Umgebung. Auch Supermärkte und die U Bahn Station sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Hussain war ein toller Gastgeber. Er ist sehr nett, war immer sehr gut zu erreichen, hat uns persönlich in Empfang genommen und uns die Möglichkeit gegeben unsere Koffer vor der eigentlichen Check in Zeit in der Wohnung abzustellen.

Fantastic, stylish and artistic home. The space is peaceful and relaxing. Courtyard is perfect for enjoying a cuppa in the morning air. James even went to the trouble of booking parking for us at a very reasonable price. Great park at the end of the road for dog walks and canal is just over the road for lovely strolls. A range of shops and eateries on the doorstep. One of the most comfortable stays we’ve had.

Neil’s place was ideal in so many ways. I was in London for an intense exam week, held nearby, and needed a place to base myself. I loved that the area was buzzy and alive yet the apartment was still quiet and I could concentrate. The bedroom in the back was very peaceful. There was everything needed in both the apartment (full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine with iron and ironing board, clothes drying racks etc) and from the immediate vincinity from nearby supermarkets, exercise places or a walk around Hyde Park. Transportation was very easy, being a one minute walk to Notting Hill Gate tube with access to the Central, Circle and District lines. There are also plenty of bus stops (I took one across the road to Paddington station the day I left) and walking is possible to lots of places. I couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re wishing to experience a cool neighbourhood in London.

Sai’s place is great. It’s comfortable, cosy, with everything you need for a good stay. It’s nice and quiet there, but nevertheless it’s brilliantly located close to local shops, restaurants and buses that will easily get you to the tube, or to Watford. It’s no problem to get to central London or to the Warner Bros Harry Potter experience. Sai’s a great host. Responsive, helpful and honest. He was really quick to ensure he returned items that we mistakenly left in the property when we left. This is the third time we’ve stayed there and we’d do do again in a heartbeat.

We loved Derek’s space. It was perfect to have our own space when visiting family nearby in Crouch End, at a reasonable price. Ample space for two with a very large bathroom! We would stay again :)

The property is a few minutes walk from Paddington station. There’s lots going on in the immediate area, with pubs and restaurants. Being a few mins away from Paddington, there’s great access to the rest of London via the underground. The property itself is great for a short break. Plenty big enough for us as a couple. Felt like a little home from home with having a separate lounge/kitchen to the bedroom. Bedroom is at the rear, so no issues with street noise. I guess only word of warning is the stairs are quite steep if you have heavy luggage. We only had an overnight bag each, so wasn’t an issue for us. The host was great with comms and instructions. I’d definitely recommend for a stay in London.

Afsoon was a wonderful and attentive host. Easy to communicate with and keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house is immaculate and peaceful - I could lie in bed and listen to the birds first thing. She offered to cook us dinner, for very reasonable price, which was a delicious Persian 3 course meal. We stayed here as we had to be at Dorney lake early. Although close to the lake, it is a bit of a drive to get to the other side. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay near Canary Wharf! The home itself is beautiful, spacious and clean. The hot tub and sauna are luxurious and a fun treat! Kitchen is fairly well stocked and easy to cook in. A/C worked great. Washer/dryer combo machine is nice to have as well. There is a small market across the street which makes getting groceries super easy. The bus stops right in front of the house for easy transport to Canary Wharf or anywhere in the city. Great transportation connections via DLR as well. Greenwich is an easy walk and a wonderful way to spend a day. All in all a fantastic place to stay! Thanks for making it a great place for our family!
