Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lowestoft

We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

Christine’s place (sorry can’t remember if it had a name!) was a perfect place for us to rest and enjoy Beccles but also perfectly placed to get to Halesworth and the coast, trips to Walberswick and Southwold were lovely The house is very comfortable and well equipped, nothing more we could have needed. Everything was tasteful and lovely quality. Christine was a wonderful host, we really appreciated all the treats she left for us. All very thoughtful. Beccles is such a good place for a weekend away, lovely Deli’s and coffee shops. Really friendly people. Thank you so much Christine.

I recently had a wonderful five-day stay at Rebecca's kiln cottage, which truly felt like a hidden gem. The cottage was not only beautiful but also clean, comfortable, and set in peaceful surroundings. Being dog-friendly with plenty of lovely walks nearby made it even better. Rebecca, our host, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with useful information about local amenities. She was friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. We had a truly wonderful stay at Storm Cottage. Full of character, warmth, and everything you need for a relaxing coastal escape. The location is great, just steps from the beach and within walking distance of local gems like the chippy and family pub. The cottage itself is clearly a much-loved family home, not a sterile rental, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. From the well-stocked kitchen to the books, piano and projector setup, everything is there to make you feel at home. It’s worth reading the listing closely, it’s honest and accurate. If you’re looking for a pristine hotel-like experience with everything neatly tucked away, this may not be for you. But if you appreciate a soulful, creative space with lots of thoughtful touches, you’ll love it. Communication with Steve was excellent, friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. We’d love to come back again.

Lovely cottage which immediately felt like home. Wonderful views across fields, and of the big Suffolk skies. Very peaceful, and well equipped for families. Dave kindly installed stair gate and set up a high chair for us. House itself has got a lovely feel, nicely thought out design, all rooms are nice and light and the living room very cosy at night. Perfect stay for us and we’ll definitely be returning!

Our second visit, and the barn and surroundings were beautiful in spring! Particularly enjoyed watching the sunset over the meadow at the back with a drink. Thanks Hannah for a great stay

We had the most lovely family holiday here. With a 3 and 1 year old this property had everything we needed to make us feel all feel right at home. A cot, high chair, bib, black out binds, you name it. The river and decking at the bottom of the garden was just so peaceful, our go to spot. We watched nesting swans and ducks, we all loved it. Thank you Hannah for having us. You have a beautiful Airbnb!!

Wonderful spacious, well-appointed property, in quiet location ideally suited to visiting the beach or Broads. Plenty of room for the six of us, plus dogs both inside and outside and the enclosed garden was perfect and safe for the grandchildren and dogs. Excellent comfortable flat to stay in Norwich with parking. Great to do your own cooking in the full kitchen and use of washing machine. Definitely everything you need is provided, even breakfast provisions & laundry detergent. I found it easier to use the back entrance as just 1 door to get in but be aware that you have to go up a flight of stairs either way. Responsive hosts and I can't think of anything to improve the place. Easy to walk to local restaurants and into Norwich town centre. The bedroom is quiet as it's not facing the main road. I stayed 4 nights and was very happy with my stay.

Absolutely fantastic weekend away , The apartment was as described and contained everything we needed plus more. Great location conveniently 5 minutes walk from the Beach and 10 minutes into town - along a beautiful Seaview promenade. I would certainly recommend the putting green cafe for breakfast , its the closest and the full English was on point. Great location for this flat, easy access. The owner gave us clear instructions of the place and everything that was needed, responded/communicated quickly when we texted. The flat has everything in it, from kitchen utensils to towels and very clean bedding. We loved our stay and we had a wonderful time in Southwold.

A super apartment within easy walking distance of the train station, restaurants and all of the attraction Norwich has to offer. The apartment is really cosy with a very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Access is really secure and easy. Although I had no need for a parking space, this is a great service that the apartment offers. Highly recommended!

We had such a lovely stay. The flat is very clean, nicely decorated and the outdoor area is beautiful. The sauna was fab and we loved taking a dip in the water. Would definitely stay again!

Jem was super helpful and responsive from the moment we enquired about her apartment right through to booking, check-in and check-out. She was also really accommodating of our young child making sure the apartment was safe for a ‘crawler’, also rearranging some of the furniture to make it buggy friendly. Jem really was the perfect host! The apartment itself was immaculate and exactly as described. The location was second to none, perfect for exploring all Norwich has to offer by foot. We would highly recommend the apartment to anyone visiting Norwich.

Excellent annex, perfect for a weekend getaway, lovely welcome pack, Sarah even left a welcome pack for our doggy, Will definitely book again, if we go to the east coast again. Very easy to find and gain access, No problems with anything.

Marisol was very helpful and quick to respond. We felt a little cold after a long journey and Marisol put the heating up for us. The apartment was lovely well aquiped kitchen and just as described on Airbnb. Was spotlessly clean. Is on a main road but this wasn't a problem. Couldn't hear the traffic at all. Would stay again.
