Waterfront vacation rentals in Lowestoft

A lovely little chalet that was perfect for exploring during half term. Comfy beds and pillows which meant everyone was well rested. Shower was surprisingly powerful and underfloor heating in bathroom a nice treat. Kitchen is well kitted out with appliances and utensils enabling us to cook most evenings. Electric heaters and fans both available should temperatures lower or rise .. we had no need to use them. The electric meter didn’t guzzle money either. Found it to be a quiet location despite plenty of other chalets being occupied. Easy walking distance to beach and amusements. We explored various National Trust locations (Horsey Windpump, Felbrigg and Sheringham) and would highly recommend visiting. Also explored the Military Museum up near Sheringham .. again, well worth a visit.

We had a great stay in Amanda's spotless apartment. Amanda and Dean were very responsive and keen to help resolve a small issue we had with the WiFi during our stay, which was very much appreciated. It is a short walk to Lowestoft high street in one direction, and the beautiful South Beach in the other. As others have said, earplugs will help with the seagulls. Really enjoyed watching the boats in and out of the harbour with the binoculars handily provided in the flat!

What a great little studio, we had a wonderful couple of nights here. The view of the sea was perfect on the sunny mornings. The beach is only 1 minute walk and the place is pristine and cosy. Andre was very responsive and always available with answers. Would highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful time away at the seaside.

We had such a fantastic stay and we felt right at home. Everything was clean, well looked after and the chalet was equipped with more than you could need. Everything was thought out to give guests the best experience and there was a lovely welcome basket to give an extra special touch.The location was perfect with a nature reserve and lovely park within a few minutes walking distance. Would recommend over and over, will be staying again!

I took my two kids to stay at Moat Island for a couple of nights during Half Term whilst we visited relatives nearby. It was the perfect mid-point location, but also felt like a special and memorable site. The bell tents are cosy and warm, and the composting toilet next to ours was the nicest I’ve ever used. I found myself going to it repeatedly when I only needed to walk about 20m more to get to the plumbed indoor ones! We enjoyed having a communal kitchen area, as it allowed us to chat to a few our ‘neighbours’. The outdoor pond/pool was utterly freezing, but worth a dip. And thankfully the nearby showers were gloriously warm.

A brilliant location, near the perfect sandy beach and all local amenities in this wonderful "old world" resort. Restaurants and pubs (and a brewery) only a few minutes walk away. The access might be difficult for anyone with mobility problems - it's up two flights of steep steps, the first of which is like a fire escape. We had a brilliant time and hope to return sometime! Swan view is a lovely place to stay. Great space. Easily walkable to restaurants. Very clean and just as described/pictured. Matt and Michaela are great hosts. They have put together a binder with everything you need to know about the apartment and the area. They are also quick to respond.

A lovely stay in excellent studio apartment with private bathroom and washing machine facilities. Great area for walking around Norwich with a beautiful outlook over the River. many eating places and shops nearby. very handy for train station. Apartment very clean tidy with all you need easy acces to building and apartment. Host a cessible via email messaging etc and responsive. I definitely would return. Rachel

We had a lovely stay the location is stunning on the river with amazing views from the hot tub. The property itself is great, lovely bedrooms and communal spaces. The balcony is lovely to set and relax. We have already booked to go again .

A home from home, had everything you would need being away, the extra little touches were very appreciated. A short walk to the high street and a nice walk to the lovely unspoilt beaches. The stairs were described steep but our dog was able to go up and down with no problems. Would recommend the fig grill and bar by the beach, lovely food and great views over the beach. Allowed us an early check in so that was a positive. Thank you for a lovely 4 nights stay in your lovely quirky home

a lovely location and property. Great it has a car charging point. Worked really well for our disabled friend. really well equipped, even included doves for cooking! brilliant utility / drying room. At checkin Caroline, the owner, was worried about car noise from the road, we weren't. it was not an issue for us and she says the road is soon to be closed from one end anyway. Lovely log burner, house got too warm!! All in all a lovely experience, would go again

Booked the lodge as a surprise for my best friend’s 40th birthday. Four of us in total, that don’t get to see one another often; and everything about this experience made it so special. Selina was so accommodating and flexible to our individual needs; kindly letting 2 of us access the lodge ahead of check-in time, to set up birthday banners & afternoon tea (ordered from No. 142 Cafe in Oulton Broad). The entire stay exceeded all expectations! The photos don’t really do it justice. The lodge is stylish, comfortable, and spotless. The double bedroom boasts its own access onto the spacious veranda, and such a lovely marina location. A fab bar/restaurant onsite too, which we enjoyed the next day.

Wonderful place to stay, right on the water. Very relaxing. Everything we needed. Lovely deck to sit out on. Comfy beds and sofas and a nice shower. 4 good pubs and a coffee shop within a 5 minute walk. A lovely meadow walk just down the road and a 10 minute bus ride into Norwich.

Wonderful location for my solo week away. Near local amenities but riverside location. Wonderfully welcoming hosts with plenty of local knowledge and suggestions.

A lovely apartment on two floors, at the top of a beautiful Georgian building. We used the round room inside the rotunda at the front to have breakfast whilst watching ships on the river and out at sea.

We had such a lovely stay. The flat is very clean, nicely decorated and the outdoor area is beautiful. The sauna was fab and we loved taking a dip in the water. Would definitely stay again!

We very much enjoyed our stay with Emma. This is a well loved, creative homely and cosey space. It is hosted by a lovely family that we're both on hand to support but balance this with letting you get on with your holiday. We very much enjoyed a perfect location. this is a great little find in an ideal location, near to beach, shop, pub/restaurant, tea room and fish and chip shop. the accomodation was spotless and had loads of little extras like welcome pack, sauces, tea coffee salt pepper, jams butter, toiletries etc. it also had a small private back garden with multiple seating areas , we would highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to our next visit Thankyou 😁

It’s okay to pull right up and unload all of your stuff right in front of the iron gate. It’s a pretty melow and sleepy seaside yown concerning such matters. Host said up to ten minutes parking there should be okay. Note that the road that the apartment entrance is located on is a single-lane “alleyway” and easy to pass right by. Comingbfrom Sainsburys and heading down Nicholas Road, it is the small street just before the light at Regent Street. You can ise the Just Park app to park at Sainsburys cheaply, but recommend parking at the southern edge of the parking lot in some of the wider family spaces. I got a major ding on the side of my car from parking in the busier section of the parking lot for several days.
