Ideal Nola Staycation- Convenience Meets Comfort

This is a cozy 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment (2nd story attached to rear of Main House). It is located on the corner Annunciation St. and First St. in the heart of the Irish Channel, just 3 blocks from the bustling Magazine Street. For those of you who have not visited the area before, Magazine Street exemplifies New Orleans and all that the city has to offer. Encompassing at least six distinct neighborhoods (Downtown/CBD, Warehouse District, Lower Garden District, Garden District, Irish Channel, and Uptown) it’s a six-mile journey filled with nearly every type of shop and restaurant and bar imaginable. Walk to the street car on St. Charles Ave. for a ride all over the city, 5 minute drive to the Convention Center and 10 minute drive to the French Quarter. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, laundry room, and full bathroom. One room has two comfy twin beds. The other room has a comfy queen size bed. There is also an inflatable mattress that can easily be placed in the living room for another sleeping option. We have a full kitchen as well as a washer/dryer. We do not have cable, but have free Wifi as well as apple TV setup on both of the tvs with free access to Netflix. Note: The apartment is approximately 600 square feet. Note: The apartment is located upstairs at the back of the main house. You will have access to every space in the unit. There is a driveway in the backyard with a single off-street parking space on the right side for a car to be parked in during your visit. The entire home sits on a large corner lot on Annunciation and First St, and entrance to this unit is accessed in the rear of the main house on First St. up the stairs. Note: the apartment is attached to a home that is occupied by a family who are long term tenants. Please be respectful of them! Walking and bus tours visit the area for its amazing architecture and historical landmarks. Walking distance from Magazine street and St. Charles Ave.! Streetcar all over town on St. Charles Ave. Quick Uber/Car ride to downtown/French Quarter/ and Convention Center. The unit is attached to a home that is occupied by a wonderful family with a young child. Please be quiet and respectful of them! The driveway in the backyard has 2 parking spots. The spot on the right side is designated for the bed and breakfast. Please park there. Please alert the owner of any issues upon arrival so we can ensure you enjoy your stay.

The Lower Garden District/ Magazine Street area is one of New Orleans' oldest and trendiest neighborhoods, with a mix of 100-year-old houses, cool shops, and restaurants. Walk to Magazine Street, the St. Charles streetcar, coffee shops, and the beautiful homes of the Garden District. Close to the French Quarter, but tucked away from the noise. City bus system close by, St Charles Streetcar within walking distance and only $7-$9 by Uber or Lyft into the center of the city. Parking outside right in front of the house. (Of course, on occasion, you may have to park a couple spots away, however it's rarely a problem to park right in front). Your code for the front gate and front door will be sent via the Airbnb app three days before your stay. If you need any help just give us a call.

Elegant Flat in Historic Lower Garden District

This Victorian era apartment has great natural light, huge windows, antique furniture, high ceilings, great architectural detail. Queen size bed with Casper mattress in bedroom #1. Bedroom #2 doubles as living room, with queen size, memory foam sleeper sofa. Well appointed kitchen with gas cook top, microwave, french press, coffee maker, electric kettle, cookware, dishes, flatware. All linens and towels provided, as well as bath products. A balcony overlooking Race St, two doors from Magazine St, is a great place for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. Wonderfully walkable neighborhood. Guests have private access to the apartment, as well as their private balcony. Send a text, or call, and I will respond as soon as I can. The home is in a wonderfully walkable neighborhood, two doors from MoJo Coffee House and one block from Coliseum Square Park. Stroll up Magazine St to boutique shops, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, bike rentals, amazing architecture, and history. Free street parking usually available out front, or very near by. Public transportation available on Magazine St, St Charles Ave, a close walk. Uber, Lyft and taxi cabs also available. Guests will have to climb one flight of stairs to access the apartment.

Courtyard Suite on Tchoupitoulas by Convention Ctr

Circa 1834 brick row house with a ground floor suite with newly renovated full bathroom, small kitchen. It has a private street entrance and courtyard access. We are two blocks from the Convention Center. Please note we are not on a quiet corner in the Crescent city, during working weekdays it’s busy. Nights and weekends however are restful and relaxing. If any city noise is an issue for you though we suggest staying somewhere else.
