Very nice house! It was very spacious and comfortable. It’s near a Walmart and other fast food places so getting food and other things was easy. About 20 minutes from the city in a quiet neighborhood. Everything was clean upon arrival. Nice security system so we felt safe the whole stay.

Such a beautiful and spacious home. It was super easy to get into and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the outdoor space and using the pool. The neighborhood was very nice and neighbors were friendly. Would 100% return!

What a great place. Beautiful garden with fountain, massive space in this two story, stepping back in time, billiards was a bonus! Close to everything. Highly recommend.

Sara & Mark are New Orleans to the core. They keep a lovingly decorated and beautiful historic house, they love their city and they want you to enjoy yourself. So kind, so accommodating, so thoughtful. They're a class act all the way. The house is but a few steps away from one of the most beautiful parks in the country, and well-situated for exploring the most fascinating city in the country. Do yourself a favor and bring (or rent) a bicycle, and pedal all over the area.

It was a great deal to stay here for the weekend. The place was clean and neat, and the host was helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

This was THE place to stay. It was walkable to EVERYTHING. Great outdoor backyard, hundreds of things to do in the area and the place was so beautiful. It’s in the middle of the action, so if noise bothers you, go out of town. This was perfect for quiet mornings and fun nights. Daphne was so responsive and even went out of our way to inform of a local (peaceful) protest in the area to make sure we were aware. I have stayed in NOLA many times and have never had such a great experience. This was for a bachelorette trip!

Stayed for my Bachelorette Weekend! Beautiful location , perfect for walking to Bourbon Street, The Clover Grill was open 24/7 and it was right across the street ! Will book again in the future! Very clean and had little storage cabinets in the hall for extra blankets and towels and trash bags.

This lovely space is a gem! Folwell’s communication made check-in effortless; coffee and water provided was a nice touch. This is a beautifully restored space which felt like our own oasis in the heat of New Orleans. This location is a perfect home-base to explore on foot and we took advantage of the French Quarter, Bywater, and beyond. We hope to stay here again when in the area and strongly recommend others do the same!

An Amazingly Charming Stay in the Heart of New Orleans! This home perfectly captures the spirit of New Orleans. The exterior has that classic, historic charm I dream about when I think of the city, and the interior beautifully balances vintage character with modern comforts—those beds were incredibly comfortable! The original hardwood floors and thoughtful furnishings made it feel both cozy and stylish. Just a heads-up: this is a true New Orleans shotgun house, so the rooms flow one into the next with no hallways. It’s also a duplex with shared walls, so sound can carry—something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. That said, the charm and location more than made up for it. We felt completely safe walking to and from the French Quarter (just a 15-minute walk), even late at night. The hosts were responsive, kind, and made everything easy. I would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

The place was beautifully furnished. Very spacious for a group of 7. All basic amenities were provided as listed. The only downside was that the area did not feel safe at all and it’s far from downtown. Street parking was tight and limited especially at night since other people parked there to go to nearby restaurants. Public transport is also extremely unreliable. The street car that’s “4 minutes away” never came. We looked online for the schedule (which was inaccurate) and even asked bus drivers but they didn’t even seem to know and suggested we take the bus instead. For this reason, I don’t think this is a convenient location. If you want to explore downtown I’d recommend finding a place downtown.

Overall, we had a great stay. The house was really nice for what it was worth. The only issue was, the outside doesn't look to appealing. It looks disheveled and on a semi-busy street. If you are in the front 2 rooms (living room and 1st bedroom) you can hear the cars whizzing by. The 2nd/3rd bedrooms you can't really hear. The stay overall was very accommodating. The host was very responsive, the beds/linens were nice, comfy and clean. The bathroom was a bit outdated, but it did it's job. If you're on a budget, I'd definitely consider this for other guests.

My husband and I had a really wonderful and memorable stay, thanks to Ian, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, offering genuine hospitality and even took us out on our last night in New Orleans (during Jazz Fest), which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! The space itself is definitely more of a lived-in space; cozy but a little cluttered. That said, the unit is bigger than the photos lead on. There is a bonus sink/vanity right outside of the bathroom, that was certainly a plus for us when getting ready for the day/night. The location is ideal, walking distance to grocery stores, street cars, buses, and GREAT restaurants; at the same time the apt is remote and away from any street noise. We did run into an issue with the shower temperature and Ian fixed it right away. If you're someone who values a warm, local connection over a super polished space, this is your spot! Ian's hospitality is next to none!

The bnb was pristinely clean and beautiful! The back porch was a nice touch for our Sunday breakfast. Everyone felt safe, and slept very well. Safe neighborhood, and centrally located to many attractions. We’ll definitely utilize this bnb again for future visits.

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This place is fantastic! Exactly what we were hoping for and more! CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL & A+ STAFF! We walked everywhere while here and felt right at home! The hot tub and pool were perfect at the end of each day. The weather got nasty but the courtyard and pool area were still wonderful!!Michael responds to messages ASAP and was super helpful! Our stay at the Legendary Prudhomme Chateau near FR QT was nothing short of exceptional. This was such a cute space within walking distance to the French quarter and Frenchmen street. The outdoor area was huge and had space to relax and hang with friends. Staff were kind and helpful. The pool was amazing after long days in the sun. Highly recommend!
