Enjoyed very much. Everything was as it should be. No complaints at all.

Absolutely stunning outdoor pool area landscaping; peaceful and private. Loved the hot tub! A big bonus for our fam was the secret back yard door leading to the Abita Roasting Co restaurant. The main floor of the house is fairly accessible, just a few small stairs, for older guests that was nice. Loved the interior vault and beams in the main room. Property manager was very responsive and kind.

Wonderful stay. Serene and peaceful. Annie was quick and easy to communicate with. The space was wonderful!! Didn't get to use the hot tub or pool due to a cold front coming in but we still were able to sit out on the porch and have coffee. Full size stove and refrigerator with all of the necessary cooking utensils was a major plus! There is even a BBQ grill next to the cottage. I will definitely be booking again to stay here in the near future. Safe and secure location. Right across the road from a casino and maybe 10 minutes from Tiger Stadium and 20 minutes from downtown/midtown. Highly recommend!

Wonderful little cottages in an RV park right next to the casino. The loft area was very cozy. Very clean and well kept. It was heated and cool with two mini split style a/c units. 10 min walk to the casino. Couldn’t have been happier with my stay.

3rd Memorial Day in a row. Really enjoy this getaway.

Great place to stay for us and our big dog. Did a lot of walking and exploring, looking for wildlife. did a lot of birding - it was awesome. there's a marsh behind the house and a bayou across the road in front. saw some gators and beavers paddling around. we also visited the state park just down the road. nice boardwalk and of course more birding and beavers. Did not get to see black bears. Maybe next time. Had everything we needed. got to watch a storm roll in over the bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Will happily return and highly recommend.

Lovely quiet cottage with outdoor space - great proximity to Frenchman St, the Quarter, Riverfront, Bywater, and the fabulous Marigny neighborhood.

Great stay! Only gave the check-in one less star because the instructions gave a specific color of the gate and it was a little confusing since the house next door was actually blue and the gate was not. Wasn’t terribly hard to figure out but just sometime maybe to update for future guests :) I felt very at home in the space heaving just moved out of New Orleans. Would stay again 1000%. Beautiful, beautiful space.

I'm so glad I chose to stay here. It's such a peaceful place to stay and hands down one of the best Airbnb's I've been to. Stayed with my 4 year old and 6 month old. Got good use out of the crib, and my 4 year old slept on the oversized chair + ottoman in the bedroom quite well. Was basically the same size as a toddler bed! The property is beautiful and spotless. The beds were incredibly comfy. Without hesitation I would 100% stay again!

I had the privilege of staying at Lil Bayou Living this weekend and I must say that this place is a true haven of comfort and warmth. We were so inspired by the serene atmosphere that we didn't want to leave. You can tell that the hosts have poured their hearts and souls into every little detail, carefully crafting an experience that exceeds all expectations. The house was immaculately clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Thoughtfully provided toys kept the children delightfully entertained. And the crowning glory is the breathtaking view of the water. We spent precious moments on the dock, where my 4-year-old granddaughter caught fish and reveled in the joy of discovery. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat, a fishing paradise, and a haven of tranquility with stunning water views, look no further than this incredible gem. We have stayed here on multiple occasions and we have enjoyed it every time. Great host, Clean accommodations, wonderful outdoor kitchen, and a great location on the lake.

Perfect place to rest and relax! 3 days surrounded by nature! Reminded us of our camping days when our children were little. Cabin contained everything we needed. We loved walking on the property and the compost bin was a plus. Some fresh herbs planted in the planter box would be nice for cooking! Just a suggestion from a fellow gardener.

I had been feeling a bit stressed with life lately. I decided to stay as soon as I saw the pictures. everything reminded me of back home, and if felt an immediate amount of peace wash over me as soon as I stepped out of my car. I cant wait to come back July 1st for a longer stay. Chelsea was also very responsive. if I had a question I didn't have to wait for hours for a reply...I even changed my reservation twice to stay longer, and if it wasnt booked out for the next two weekends...I'd have extended it a third time. lol. I feel like a new me just from staying here. very therapeutic.

What a beautiful little getaway spot! We had family coming in from out of town and didn’t have enough room at our home to host everyone. Nicky provided the perfect lodgings for our out of state guests to experience a quaint trip to the country. Thanks again!

The house was clean and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all 6 of us. The dock on the bayou was a nice place to relax as well as the screen in porch. Our host was extremely friendly and accommodating. Will stay there again.

I was looking for a place to recover from a major surgery for 2 weeks. Carrie and Rob went above and beyond to be sure that my caregiver and I were comfortable and had everything that we needed. Nice energy. plenty of linens. washer and dryer. they were very responsive, thoughtful and compassionate. the courtyards were very nice place to relax. 10/10 recommend!

This place was perfect for what we went for. My husbands birthday was yesterday so we went this past weekend Friday-Sunday. We had quite a few people and it fit all of us and had everything we needed! Had zero problems over all. We loved the kayaks. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom. We slept great! 10/10 would recommend!!

Our stay at the Bayou Boeuf house was Amazing! The house was immaculate and extremely organized. Carolyn is an exceptional host! Her attention to detail throughout the house is incredible. She even thought ahead to bring in a baby bed for my grandson, which was greatly appreciated. The backyard is beautiful, and we enjoyed peaceful mornings on the back patio drinking our coffee. We had a delicious dinner at Trudy’s one night and walked to Zam’s for a swamp tour one afternoon all of which were recommended on her page. My family loved this beautiful house and felt right at home. This home definitely exceeded our expectations!

Blume Cottage was remarkable. Everything you would want for a home away from home. In walking distance to great restaurants, night life and more. Across the street is a cute grab and go style market. Kelly's attention to decor is impeccable, even down to the finest details. Tons of space to relax and get away from others if traveling in a group. The outdoor patio is the place to be in the late afternoon. We can't wait to go back and enjoy this little GEM of Mandeville, LA.

We are incredibly grateful for the graciousness and generosity shown to our family during our stay. Unfortunately, my wife came down with a stomach bug on the day of our checkout, which delayed our ability to leave on time. The hosts were unbelievably kind—not only did they avoid rushing us, but they also allowed us to stay an extra night at a deeply discounted rate so my wife could rest and recover. Throughout our entire stay, they were responsive, understanding, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to come across such thoughtful and compassionate hosts. Thank you for making a difficult situation so much easier for our family. We will always remember your kindness.

Nicki's place was clean, comfortable, stylish and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the cleanliness and refrigerator stocked with coffee and creamers! It was a perfect place for our visit and we love the area as it close to Magazine St. where you can run to shop, eat, drink, etc. All in all, we had a great stay and would consider the location the next time we visit NOLA.
