Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

Mewstone is an outstanding property and Maria is a top notch host. The property description tells it all accurately except it understates the beautiful views across Dartmouth from the upper windows and balcony (which is a real sun trap). Maria told us the property was being cleaned early and she kindly offered us access from 12 noon which was handy. Oh and it was very clean. All the furniture, fittings, appliances, beds etc are of high quality. We had been told in advance that the shared pool heater had broken down which was a shame and Maria was very apologetic and keen to make amends. She is a very friendly and responsive host who genuinely wants her guests to enjoy their time at Mewstone. 2 minutes walk to the market square and shops and restaurants, another couple to the riverside. With the bonus of two parking spaces given the central location. As a couple with three young adults we loved Mewstone and are already talking about returning.

The place was spotless and well maintained. Beautiful location with a route to walk/ trek nearby too. We had a great time during the stay.

We had a phenomenal time! The whole house was spotless and the kitchen was so well equipped. We cooked all meals at home and had lovely dinners outside. The garden is absolutely stunning and a dip in the pond was a great thing to do every morning. Thank you so much Ian, we hope to come back again!

Absolutely stunning place. Louise was the perfect host answering every question I asked. The pool was a great hit with us adults and of course the children. The farm tour was lovely and Louise was very understanding when my little boy had a nose bleed whilst feeding the calves. I would highly recommend a stay at The Grange!

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

We had a fabulous stay at Dean’s place. All was as described, lovely apartment, comfy beds, super views and great location to explore Torquay and Devon. Dean is extremely friendly and communicative, nothing was a problem. Thanks for hosting us.

As others have said, the cottage is a lovely place to stay. Great location and very peaceful. It's probably the best equipped cottage we've ever stayed in - everything has been thought of. The owners are kind and helpful but unobtrusive - just what you want. Definitely one to recommend.

The cottage was exactly what we wanted, we have family just across from the car park so Josh’s place was an ideal location for us also only a short walk from the train station and the town. Beautifully presented and looked at exactly the photos. Comfy beds and nice fresh white linen. The bottle of wine upon entering was a nice touch after our long journey. Would definitely recommend and hopefully be back soon ☺️

Our stay at Sue's house exceeded our expectations. It is very beautiful and tasteful, uncluttered, with lovely succulent plants in ceramic pots. It is really comfortable, so comfortable in fact that we didn't want to go out in the evenings! The garden is very pretty, and the artwork beautifully hung and displayed. There are books, loads of towels, comfortable sofas and cushions, soft rugs. Sue kindly left wood for the log burners, and they were laid and ready to light. I honestly couldn't fault it and would definitely stay again, but for longer next time.

This is a lovely property with a stunning garden and patio. We had a great few days. The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard. Great kitchen, living area and bedrooms and bathrooms. The garden is beautiful and spacious and a lovely space to spend time in. The summerhouse in the garden is great for relaxing or working if you need to. The cottage is in a great location for Dartmoor, the Devon coast and Exeter. Some great local pubs and places to eat. We will definitely book again. Dilys and Terry were excellent hosts and made the stay really straightforward and enjoyable. Many thanks!

Amazing house with amazing view.

This place is one of the best places I have ever stayed. It gave me the space to relax, get to the beach, walk, and be surrounded by more varied wildlife than I've seen in a whole year! It's in the return folder for when I can next do it. Thank you to Sue and David, who were so welcoming and lovely.

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

The best equipped air bnb we have ever stayed at! The cottage was beautifully beautifully finished and Victoria and Jon were both friendly people and very helpful. The cottage is in a rural location like going back in time with Stunning countryside, perfect for those who like walking. A 1 minute walk to the local pub which serves good pub food and local beers and ciders. A 20 minute walk to another fantastic pub. Can't recommend it enough!

This was our second time staying so felt home from home. Beautiful, clean and peaceful cottage in a great location! Loved it and will be back.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

Bar Lodge is just stunning. The accommodation and decor were both great but it was the views from every level that it made it so very special (and a very friendly and inquisitive robin). Being on the south west coast path, we were expecting good walking but the friendliness of the tractor and ferry guys and other locals we met meant every outing was even better. Annie was proactive and accommodating from beginning to end and the property was clean and beautifully presented when we arrived. Thank you, we can't wait to come back!

My best air bnb experience ever. I brought my dad to Devon for a holiday, and Sarah’s home was absolute perfection. It was bright, spacious and full of personality - and easy access to everything we needed. Sarah’s communication and kindness was incredible. At short notice we were even able to organise staying an extra night as we were having such a great time, and Sarah was responsive and helpful at all points. It truly made the holiday. Can’t recommend highly enough and would absolutely love to return.

What a wonderful place to stay, such a beautiful setting, moors right outside your door. Village only 20 mins walk away. Just so relaxing Perfect getaway, garden beautiful just the sounds of birds, sheep and the occasional pony, loads of walks. Could not fault it, would recommend to anyone

The house was very clean and tidy. We really liked the colonial decor. Nice bed linen and lots of towels. The kitchen was well stocked and the use of a bbq was an added bonus when the sun came out. Lots of garden furniture, the garden was great for our 20 month old grandson. Haldon forest park 5/10 mins drive up the road was great for walking , cycling and had good play parks for all ages. Nicola’s communication was great! Thank you for a great stay!
