Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Welcome to Lammenranta. We are a couple from Joensuu and we rent the downstairs of our house. The guest can access a spacious room with their own entrance. There is also a private toilet and laundry room, as well as a washer. The space has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle. Cutlery and crockery. Pets are welcome, there is a 10€ fee. We do not have an electric car charging facility. The nearest fast charging point is 600 meters away.

An authentic and wildernessy little pirtti (25m2) made of old smoke sauna logs by a clear and fishy lake. No electricity, no carrying water. Chest plot with rock. On the beach, a small black log sauna, an open savage, a fire pit, a sup board, and a rowing boat. Enjoy the steam of a beach sauna in this modernly equipped cottage with the atmosphere of a traditional beach sauna. The cottage is just a few steps from the shore of a clear-water pond. From the dock you can swim after the sauna or try your luck at fishing. About 200 meters away, there are hiking trails and ski trails in winter. Lykynlammi's outdoor area with a frisbee golf course is about three kilometers away.

Kuohu - sauna cabin on the shore of a rapid

Kuohu is an atmospheric, warm sauna cottage built in 2015 on the banks of a small river. In the noise of the rapids, you can relax in the sauna, barbecue or campfire. The cottage is located along a small sandy road, completely in its own peace. Koli National Park is about a 30-minute drive, Höytiäinen beach is just over 2km away. We rent canoes and have picnic packages with local products.
