Great berry picking, mushroom picking, fishing, and hunting grounds right at the cottage door (purse-lacla). The cottage has electricity. Nearby historical and hiking destinations include Rukajärventie, Änäkäinen, jongun river, bear trail, and recreational fishing and hiking area. ask for autumn weekends with a message, they are negotiable even though they are provisionally closed for your own use. No possibility of running water during freezing weather.

Welcome to a clean, well-maintained two-room apartment! You'll have the entire apartment (37 m²) to yourself. Free parking with a heating pole in the yard, which is rare for a car in this area. In the apartment, you can enjoy a sauna and a spacious balcony. The property has a well-equipped kitchen. You can quickly reach the city center via the Ylisoutaja bridge, for example, by using the bicycles included in the rent. The apartment has an air heat pump, so the nights are cool even in summer. Parties are not allowed.

Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. Log cabin on the shore of Lake Pielinen

Beautiful log house on the shore of Lake Pielinen. A quiet location, stunning scenery and good outdoor opportunities best describe this place. In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Docent's Flat

New (September 2023) apartment in the center of Joensuu, 500 meters from the university. Fully furnished, ideal for both short-term and long-term stays. The studio is for 2 persons, but can accommodate up to 4 people: additionally we can add 1 cot + fold-out bed for extra 50 euro, agreed in advance. Pool 600 meters away, cafe 200 meters away, market 1 km away, train station 2 km away. Spacious balcony, elevator, private parking with heating and charging. Perfect for convenience and comfort.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.

Villa was build 1999-2000 as a second home from the family with basic facilities criteria for everyday living. Basic principle was to have a place to calm down but also a house for remote work in home village. Place is pretty nice on top of the hill, scenery is wide almost all over ... tens of kilometers. A cozy, 35,5 square meter studio apartment located in the city centre of Joensuu. The studio is in the second floor of a peaceful apartment building. There's a parking spot and an elevator. Bedlinen, towels, soap and shampoo, hair dryer, drying washing machine, kitchenware, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, oven and stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, a 43-inch smart-tv and WI-FI are included. For toddlers there's a travel crib and toys.
