Alapihan Arboretum guest house with sauna

Cozy guest house and sauna in a wild tree species park. There are about 250 different species of woody trees and shrubs in the two-hectare area. The trees were planted in 1970 and form their own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is still partly in its natural state and renovation is being done in the area. A two-story apartment with its own sauna, located a short distance from the center of Joensuu (about 4 km) with good public transport connections, and close to beautiful hiking trails. The resident has access to a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave, as well as coffee and tea. The apartment has a double bed and a single bed. A sofa bed for two people. A fully renovated bathroom and sauna were completed in the apartment in April 2025. The second bedroom has a blackout curtain.

Valkovuokko cottage

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place to stay. Valkovuokko is located in a quiet location on the shore of a lake with clean water. The cottage has a fully equipped and modern kitchen, a fireplace, three bedrooms, and a barbecue hut in the yard. A private wood-fired sauna is in the same building. The holiday cottage has its own beach. The equipment includes a rowboat, canoe, life jackets, and a SUP board. In winter, the equipment includes two pairs of non-slip shoes and regular snow boots.

This Front House apartment exudes peace and quiet. The market is about 1.5 km away and the university is about 1 km away. The apartment has an air heat pump, electric radiators and two stoves as a heat source. Downstairs is a brisk sauna that heats up with a traditional Authentic wood stove. In addition, downstairs you will find a spacious shower room, toilet and utility room with all the comforts. There is a well-maintained ski trail near the apartment. It's easy to come to and parking is free!!
