A very nice and comfortable place near the lakes and restaurants

I can’t recommend this place enough!!! The home is absolutely beautiful, with so many antique details from the furniture to the paintings to the light switches. Everything about it felt right and it is truly a work of art. We loved the quiet, peaceful setting and it was so fun to watch the horses run past our window and walk over to pet them. Johannes was a wonderful host!! We had a private entrance to our guesthouse so we didn’t see him a lot, but whenever we did he was friendly and very helpful and hospitable. He also responded right away to the questions that I messaged him. This place is a great value with your very own washer and dryer hidden behind cabinet doors in the front foyer and laundry soap above behind the lovely stained glass window cabinet, and several nice bikes in the beautiful red brick barn that you can borrow whenever you want! We went on a long bike ride to various towns, such as Dokkum. Our favorite day trip was taking the boat to the beautiful island of Ameland!

Cottage matches the photos, even better (we didn't expect an entrance spacious enough to put our bikes under cover). Frootje is very responsive to messages and her mom welcomed us on arrival. Absolute calm, very clear environment, very pleasant living space, very good bedding. In the listing, there are 3 bedrooms, there are 4 (2 with double beds, separable if needed), and 2 with single beds. One of the double bedrooms is on the ground floor, which is good for people with difficulties with fairly steep stairs. Just so you know, the curtains could be blackout (in the bedrooms) for those who like darkness to sleep. And the toilet is located with the shower, a little annoying when you want to get ready in the morning. In short, a place to remember. Thank you for everything. Nadine

A bright and modern cottage where everything is available, from herbs and coffee filters to towels and bedding. Good base for, for example, a boat trip to Ameland or visit a nice village in the area. Annet is very friendly in her emails and responds quickly. Price-quality ratio is fine!

This was the most beautiful spot we have stayed at. The location and surrounding were so peaceful. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos.

Although I did not meet Gea in person, the contact with her was very pleasant. She responds directly and is very helpful and kind. The cottage is to fall in love with. Very nicely decorated and you really have everything you need. It smells fresh and clean. It is such a cottage where you feel right at home, cozy! You have a private terrace on the water where you can sit. The center, there you are walking in a few minutes. The location is perfect. Highly recommended!

Yanula's place was absolutely fantastic. It was comfy and cozy and we felt right at home. I highly recommend!

Very nice location in a quiet village. Leeuwarden is within cycling distance and easy to get to other cities by car. You can charge an electric car at the house: very easy because there are not many other charging points in the village. House is neatly decorated, spacious and looks quite new. Recommended!

Dear Hosts, We were warmly welcomed. Everything was sufficiently explained/ shown to us and the herb garden at the house was also at our disposal. We were also immediately helped with the bike search, Auke took care of everything and took us to the bike rental by car. The homemade apple juice (very tasty) and the fresh eggs were a lovely gesture. We felt very comfortable with the two of them!

We stayed at Herke's place for a short trip. The property is located on a mini campsite, which is also a plant farm and various Animals are housed. The place is furnished as described. A little rustic but we liked that. Especially the double bed in the upper part. The view is directly on a field. The stay was really very nice and relaxing.

We had a great stay! The apartment is in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you are in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and thoughtful host, who is always ready. We felt immediately welcome. What a beautiful B&B! Quiet and cozy and from the terrace and hot tub a beautiful view over the meadow. We enjoyed it! Jitske and her husband were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was also 5 ***** worth! See you next time!

A lovingly furnished and very nice place in hippie style. We felt very comfortable and were even allowed to use the boat for an excursion. The beach is only 3 minutes away by car and the town of Workum with its great restaurants is within walking distance. It was a wonderful break from everyday life!

Had a great stay in the small apartment. Very fully furnished. A wonderful location to completely relax and unwind. You should not be very afraid of spiders and mosquitoes :-)

The B&B is extremely comfortable and spacious. In the living room, it is wonderful to relax on the spacious sofa after a nice day out in the area. The bathroom is luxurious and cozy, the bed sleeps wonderfully and is nice and generous and furthermore there is a super luxurious open kitchen and fantastic views. If you are ready for a weekend getaway, don't wait any longer and book this B&B at Tineke. We'd love to come back.

The apartment Zwaluw has a very nice view from the large balcony. Hosts were very accommodating, friendly, concerned about our well-being and warm. For longer stays, bed linens and towels were exchanged and residual waste disposed of. Thus highly recommended. Gladly again, best regards, Sabine and Andreas.

The place was/is very lovingly decorated. The surrounding area as well! It is a very functional place to stay and my personal taste is small and cozy. Yfke was present and accommodating when needed. She just has a knack for creating a nice and friendly atmosphere. All in all, recommended if you want to treat yourself.

Wow what a fab place. Middle of the countryside yet just a few minutes drive from all the facilities you need. A converted barn has been made into a lovely peaceful space. Wish we could of stayed longer

It was super nice. The accommodation is beautifully located with a unique view of the IJsselmeer. As a result, there is also constantly fresh air, wind, and the sound of the water. We loved that. On the dike, there is also a beach for swimming. Good beds, great kitchen and shower, nice living room to relax. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. The dog has also been thought of. We'd love to come back.

We had a great time. On the weekend, it was sometimes very loud because many tuners met in the parking lot opposite. During the week it was super quiet and we will be happy to come back

we enjoyed this place. there was enough space for 2 families, the play area inside and the horses in the yard, made it complete.
