The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

The Music Box is the nicest B&B to enjoy the city pleasures of Leeuwarden as friends or a "set" (the beds can be separate or together!). You will stay in a private room on the ground floor, in a monumental building, which is centrally located in a historic place near the city center. The room has a cozy terrace in the shared front garden, bathroom and kitchenette and is decorated with art and music items to give your stay a special touch. It is small, but surprisingly fun and nice!

In our B&B you can relax in nature and is cozily furnished. It has a kitchenette with a 1-burner electric hob and a terrace at the back. We live near Franeker, on the Elfstedenroute. You can go anywhere from here, to the sea dike, the Wadden Islands and visit nice towns. You can use an outdoor fireplace, for 5 euros you have a basket full of wood.
