What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

A great stay and perfect breakfast! A nice bed and good shower in a particularly attractive farmhouse in a quiet natural green area. Iris is doing well, communicates nicely and I'd love to come back.

Dear Linda, We enjoyed a thoroughly delightful stay at your b&b. The scenery was picturesque: an old Dutch farmhouse with a thatched roof set in a beautiful Dutch countryside. I got up for an early morning run and taking in the surrounding area was just a perfect way to start my day. Running among the canals and bridges and breathing the fresh morning air made me forget that I was running. Then I came back to a most satisfying breakfast: scrambled eggs, jam on toast, and wonderful coffee. Thank you so much for giving us an experience that we will never forget. We really liked staying at the boerderij! Perfect for a rest in nature and visit the surrounding.

Remco is friendly, and gave extra tips per Whatsapp. However, we arrived on the wrong side via navigation and then you can't get to the right parking spot (you have to get there via a one-way road), but otherwise the service, the village with supermarket and restaurants nearby was fine!

This was the perfect end to my vacation ❤️ Despite the fact that no one else was there, I was served a delicious full breakfast in my up, made with love! Beds sleep great, and it was wonderfully clean 😀 Super nice received by Gonnie and Richard. The perfect address for when I miss the last boat home again! We will definitely see each other again 😀 Thank you!!

Siska was a great host from the beginning, she was very friendly and welcoming! The room is light and spacious and had everything I needed. The house is not too far from the city center and is easy to reach. Even more so if you rent a bicycle - which I recommend, because Groningen is a great city to discover by bike. :) Oh, and Siska's breakfast is delicious, you don't want to miss it. Thank you for a great week in Groningen, and tot de volgende!

Rosetta was so welcoming, helpful and genuinely interested in making our experience comfortable. She went above and beyond to help us get my elderly mother’s luggage in as we were unable to get luggage storage we had planned. Our breakfast was amazing. She made me special and delicious low carb options as I had dietary needs. The bedrooms were very comfortable, everything was so nice. I would stay here again in a second.

Very nice hosts, gave us some good tips and provided a very solid breakfast. Also some cute sheep and cats in their yard.

Thank you for the wonderful holiday in Friesland! We were immediately thrilled with Hélène and her beautiful B&B. The quiet location is perfect, and in a short time the Eleven Cities are easily accessible by bike or car. Every morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast that left nothing to be desired. We can fully recommend the B&B and felt completely comfortable.

I have a lot of admiration for Aagje. She provided a very nice room and made me feel like I was at home.

What lovely surrounding. On an event site, really a student neighborhood that doesn't bother you much. Cottage surrounded by nature. Not a very large terrain, but plenty of privacy. Very clean and very nicely decorated. There has been a lot of time getting all these fun attributes. The peacocks are good guard dogs. Thank you for this wonderful zen environment. We will definitely come back.

Rob and his team are the nicest people you can meet in groningen. The place is like an oasis full of beautiful nature and animals. It ist quiet and perfekt to relax, but at the same time it is not far from the city. 5/5

Fantastic place to stay! Extremely friendly, welcoming hosts, who were also so great that they wanted to pick us up and take us to the Friese Woudenpad we walked! Beautiful quiet place with spotless and stylish room and "living room/kitchen", very warm welcome with drink, also extra possibility to order drinks/snacks, and of course the garden! Especially a piece of garden for guests, including campfire pit and gazebo. Oh and within walking distance of supermarket, restaurant and bus stop. What else do you want? In one word, great!❤️ We'll definitely be back sometime 😀

the place is a bit outside the city. i liked the cosy way, the living/kitchen area is furnished. the entire areal has a very positive vibe (animals running around, very green). the hut was simple but had everything I needed. mine had its own little porch, which would be perfect for another visit in summer. The location is next to a club but with earplugs, I didn't mind. overall, I liked my stay.

The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!
