Vacation rentals with beach access in Le Château-d'Oléron

Le logement proposé par Sophie est super pour passer quelques jours paisibles. Il se situe juste avant l'île d'Oléron ce qui est assez pratique pour se balader. L'endroit est très charmant!

We spent a very enjoyable week in Valerie's apartment. She and her husband welcomed us at the door even though our flight was delayed. A gift of brioche , orange juice and a locally produced aperitif was a nice touch. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one could possibly need. it was really quiet in spite of being on the Quai which is a hive of activity. She replied to any communication within minutes. Highly recommended.

Perfectly located appartment, and the garage is a huge advantage. Very nice place to stay at, close to everything, and easy to get in/out. I would not recommended it if you have small kids. There is some safety issues like the stairs, windows, plugs, and furniture that can fall.

Ein sehr schönes Apartment mit Blick auf die Hafeneinfahrt- zwischen dem Ketten- und dem Laternenturm gelegen. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem schönen alten Haus aus weißem Kalkstein. Die Wohnung war durch viele Dachfenster gut zu belüften und die Schrägen machen die Wohnung sehr charmant. Es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe eine Vielzahl von Restaurants, ein Strand ist in 5 Minuten Entfernung und die Innenstadt von La Rochelle ist ebenfalls in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist und haben sehr Vieles zu Fuß oder mit dem Leih-Fahrrad unternommen. Die Unterkunft ist auch vom Bahnhof aus gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Isabelle a été extrêmement accueillante, disponible et arrangeante sur notre arrivée. Le logement est idéalement situé dans un cadre paisible et à la fois proche des commodités. Tout était parfaitement propre et rangé. Il y avait même de quoi faire un copieux petit déjeuner, une charmante attention. Isabelle a pris le temps de nous expliquer les balades, les restaurants, les incontournables de cette jolie île. Nous recommandons vivement cette hôte si gentille. Nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Escale J&J. Le logement était chaleureux et cosy. Il était parfaitement conforme à la description, très propre et très bien équipé avec un bel espace extérieur amenagé clos. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de croiser les propriétaires mais les relations étaient très cordiales. Nous recommandons ce logement et nous y reviendrons sans doute.

Logement qui correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos. Le grand jardin et les deux terrasses sont un plus. Excellente communication avec Hervé. Je recommande!

Nous avons été accueillis par Philippe et son épouse qui sont vraiment très sympathique.petite maison sympa avec sa petite cour il ne manque rien tout y est, piste cyclable à proximité ou nous avons fait de super balade, grande surface à proximité.philippe et très réactive répond très vite au message nous sommes ravis de notre semaine sur île d'Oléron je recommande la petite maison de Philippe

Le logement est parfait et parfaitement bien situé. Rue calme et possibilité de se garer devant le logement ( ça vaut de l’or !!!) . Patrick est un hôte agréable et petite dédicace à sa « femme de ménage » qui fait un travail remarquable !!! On recommande le logement sans hésiter .

Je recommande le logement de Thierry, très propre,très tranquille dans le fond d’une impasse, commerce à proximité. Thierry est très accueillant, et quand je reviendrai dans la région , je reviendrai chez lui.

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréables dans l'appartement très bien situé de Marielle et Jean Claude. Nous avons pu profiter de leur superbe terrasse. La résidence est très bien entretenue et très calme. Leurs conseils pour visiter la région ont été d'une grande aide. Un grand merci à tous les deux pour les petites douceurs aussi. Nous recommendons vivement.

Beautiful apartment, fabulous views (even from the shower!), and delightful little private beach - where our kids enjoyed playing while we played boules on the lawn above. Lovely walk into the old port, either along the beach path, or inland along the beautiful grassy avenue. Great restaurants in the town, although we enjoyed most meals at home so we could make the most of the fantastic views. A wonderful stay!

Absolutely beautiful apartment with all the amenities you need. Extremely clean and we'll decorated. Very close to great restaurants. Highly recommend.

Nous avons été enchanté de notre séjour. L’appartement correspond point par point aux photos. La cuisine petite mais très fonctionnelle avec tous les ustensiles, il ne manque rien. La literie est excellente (ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas). Concernant la banquette parfaite aussi. La place de parking est un plus très appréciable ☺️ Merci pour l’accueil de Vandy

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’appartement est très agréable et tout le confort est à disposition. Il y avait aussi tout le nécessaire pour accueillir notre fille de 2,5 ans. L’emplacement est central, proche de tout. Nous recommandons vivement !
