From the outset for us, it was this beautiful meeting, with Jean-claude, owner of this lovely house that we occupied for six days, adorable, warm, discreet grandpa, with whom we were able to exchange very good times. A pleasant building in a green setting awaited us, we enjoyed this relaxing atmosphere, which offers you an enchanted break. This beautiful house has everything you need to welcome you in good conditions, the nights are quiet, only an owl wanted to invite itself one evening to our great pleasure! Beautiful places to visit at more than reasonable distances And above all, we would like to reserve a few lines for Joniss, Higgins, and Isid, Jean-claude's three adorable four-legged friends, whom we "voluntarily" attracted with treats. They are balls of kindness, that's it, they also contributed to our happiness! Mr. Jean-Claude is also a beekeeper!!!! +++We recommend it!

Our stay was perfect thanks to this wonderful house with high-quality services. Everything was together for a great time. Nothing was missing, from the smallest equipment to this stunning view of nature! We'll be happy to go back!!! (Lise is a very pleasant host in the exchange, and responsive)

The accommodation was in a lovely setting and the house was lovely. It’s a great launching pad to get to the dordogne and other places around.

Lovely rustic home, as described and shown. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. A short walk into the village although a shame some of the restaurants have closed, so check if you intend to eat out, Le Chai is a lovely traditional restaurant. Brigitte is close at hand, but lets you get on with your break. Plenty of places to visit nearby, some great bastide towns.

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

Very warm welcome from Sandrine in her superb cottage, which is comfortable and very spacious. You feel really good with your family in this environment, with plenty of tips for great discoveries in the area. Everything requires a bit of driving but that's also the charm of the region!

Caroline and Gilles' place is really nice; sleeping in a former station hall is not common and our children loved it. The little extra is that this accommodation is a mini museum since Caroline and Gilles bargain-hunted in flea markets and the internet to find plenty of old railway equipment and this does not prevent them from hosting a family with three boys!!! Well done!!! The condition of the accommodation is impeccable, everything is tidy and everything has a place. Finally, the location is very interesting, we spent three days in Périgord Noir with its castles, rivers, garden, bastides, forests, cities... We would therefore fully recommend this listing!

Perfect central ground floor apartment. Comfy and clean. Thank you to Laure for helping us with the tv as we didn’t know how to work it. Bergerac is a lovely place to visit. Would love to come back again. Next time I need to brush up on my French as most of the locals don’t speak English. Or let’s say, they would rather you speak French. And why not.

The location was excellent - very quiet and secure, bolangerie and casino supermarket across the road, parking downstairs, and literally 100m from the centre. The bed was comfortable, shower hot, spacious and excellent living area/kitchen. The only downside was two flights of stairs - not easy for some, but fine for us. Would definitely stay again.

Accommodation met all of our expectations and was true to the descriptions. The hospitality of Jean-Guy and Christine is as pleasant and caring as it is discreet. In a nutshell: perfect!

Beautiful peaceful gardens which when it was hot were a great retreat for us and our dogs. Always found a parking space. Apartment well equipped and homely. Immaculately clean. Thank you Isabelle for a relaxing place to stay.

Although my stay was short, the studio was very comfortable with so many amenities you can feel at home

We spent 10 days in Corinne's small accommodation, who gave good tips on things to do nearby, good places to eat! The stay went great, the accommodation is located a little away from the village (but still within walking distance), quiet. Be careful, however, if you don't like the countryside and its charms: Corinne has lovely chickens, roosters and other animals. We weren't woken up once by the rooster the whole stay, it's a late riser! The location is ideal if you want to explore the whole of the Dordogne!

Best ever a truly 5 starts, great location, beutiful place confi bed, free parking is 10 minutes walking, great towels, cotton linen sheets, it my be a little more expensive but is worth every penny….i can’t fault this place in any thing…..

Beautiful quiet apartment, very well equipped and nicely decorated, very clean, a parking space. On a stopover, we had two relaxing nights there (on the way there and back). Beautiful view from the living room of a beautiful valley. Very friendly welcome from our guests. Practical side, takeaway pizzas in the village 5 min away. I recommend it.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Lucia's place was very spacious and very clean.well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lucia always answered. our questions within ten minutes. The best host! I will definitely stay there again when I am in the area!

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!
