Cottage vacation rentals in Le Buisson-de-Cadouin

We had a great time. The accommodation is located in the countryside, it is very calm and full of charm. The accommodation was clean and located in the middle of many interests (caves, castles, villages, ...). Amanda was very responsive and welcoming despite a late arrival from us. The hot tub is very nice after a long day of sightseeing. We would recommend the place without hesitation.

I had a lovely Christmas with friends, in this well-located and very clean house. Joël and Pascale are very nice and give good information about the area. We'll be happy to go back.

Nyree and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home in Proissans is just idyllic. We had 6 wonderful days there and wished we’d booked longer. The setting is so beautiful, the gite is lovely, cosy and well appointed, we loved the animals and the pool, and Nyree and Jeff were so kind and welcoming. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas and Nyree and Jeff made some great recommendations including canoeing along the dordogne and a visit to Chateau des Milandes. We would 100% recommend a stay and hope to return again next year.

We have just had a jolly spiffing holiday at Petit Grange! Monpazier is of course as beautiful as ever and the beer at Biere De Las Bastide still as quaffable, and all just 5 mins walk away! Petite Grange was perfect for our stay, having ample room to accommodate four adults. Everything you need has been thoughtfully included and all is clean and fresh as you'd expect from top notch hosts. Although we didn't try the pool or hottub (it being out of season) we found the garden and veranda offered both sunshine and shade, along with stunning views and a much-used BBQ, indeed if it wasn't such a beautiful area with much to see we could happily just hang out at Petite Grange - and will definitely return! Jenny and her place were a delight. Ever helpful and attentive when needed we enjoyed our time in the area and with helpful suggestions from Jenny gave us the time and space to unwind and spend time in the Dordogne. The weather wasn't always that good so less comments about the outdoor space than we might have wanted to offer though they did look as they do in the photos. We recommend Jenny and Fleur's place to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great week at Olivier's cottage - the place is beautiful, peaceful and very well-equipped. It matches the photos and description perfectly. Olivier was very responsive and his information was very clear and helpful. I teleworked and the wifi connection is impeccable. Lots of places to visit nearby such as Puy l'Evêque, Cahors, Pech Merle Cave, Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and many more! Walks in the vineyards are very pleasant as is the Jacuzzi at the end of the day with a view of the forest :) We can only recommend this cottage and thank Olivier and Fabienne for the perfect provision of their accommodation. We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

What a week!! We spent an exellent week in the exeptional charms area. We were able to enjoy the new house residence. This place has a charming decor and is very tasteful. The bedding is very comfortable the sheets are even fragrant. The pool and hot tub are very clean. Thank you again Simon and Sharon for your discretion and at the same time being available when needed. The bottle of wine was very good. It was a week of happiness for us. We had a lovely stay at Pascale's place. The accommodation was exactly as described and the welcome was very warm. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and the environment is very quiet. The area is beautiful and offers great potential for visits. At Pascale's we enjoyed the very nice Nordic bath. And our host always had charming touches!

We had such a wonderful week staying at The Walnut Gite. Caroline and Jerry were fantastic hosts giving us lots of super recommendations and always on hand to answer any questions. The location is stunning and perfect for a family get away with the dog, with plenty of nearby attractions but far enough away for peace and quiet. The gite is beautifully decorated with anything and everything you might need during the stay. Highly recommend and we’ll be back for sure.

We had a pleasant stay in Caroline and Bruno's charming house, in the heart of Cahors. What a pleasure to have coffee in the courtyard under the eyes of the neighborhood cats!

Very peaceful and relaxing, wonderful place to stay with everything you need,

the house was extremely comfortable and had a lovely fenced garden and super terrace. we enjoyed coming home there. the distance from facilities was doable with sarlat 14 mins away.

Wow, what a place. The view is fantastic. The cottage is fine. I'm glad there are two showers. We were allowed to use the pool and that was really great! The hosts are very nice and offer help where needed.

A brilliant and beautiful Gite with the best hosts. Can't wait to come back. Hosts are so good that they went above and beyond the call of duty and even managed to organise someone to come and collect my car and get two new tyres fitted and receiver to the Gite. he even left his car for the two hours in case we needed one. Great hosts beautiful Gite. My advice is simple-book now !

A beautiful house with a beautiful exterior, great for relaxing for a few days and enjoying the sights to see around. Sylvie is responsive and very pleasant, my expectations were largely met.

Peaceful stay under the sign of nature and authenticity, we really enjoyed it! Thank you for bringing these old buildings to life, they have a soul. Nothing is missing in this house where we felt right at home. We'll be back without any worries!

Staying with Carl and Tara was a highlight of our road trip. Too much to say in a little review like this, but suffice it to say, you won’t regret staying here 1 bit. I’m sure we’ll be back!

After a hard work period, the stay in this fantastic house was more than welcome, you will really relax there.

A beautiful house with everything we needed in a very peaceful hamlet.We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and exploring the local area.

This is a special place for those seeking peaceful surroundings, in an idyllic hamlet stepped in history. There is a brilliant swimming lake nearby, perfect for exercise and cooling down in and local woodland walks too. You can also just sit and read in the ample outside space and listen to the sounds of nature. Just let the stresses of life roll by! Furthermore the host and gardener live close by and both are warm and friendly.

We have just spent a very relaxing 2 weeks at Naomi's lovely gite. The property itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed; we especially liked the covered terrace off the kitchen and the pool area. The gite is in a very peaceful, secluded location but within easy reach of plenty of picturesque bastide towns. The closest, Villeréal, is only a 10 minute drive away and has plenty of cafes, restaurants and food shops as well as weekly markets and evening food markets - it was really lovely. Naomi and her family are fantastic hosts - very welcoming, helpful and friendly. A great holIday let!

We had a great stay in Fleurac, the house was just as it was advertised - lovely. We have been to the area before and have friends near by - but we still found lots of places that were new to us. Lauren's communication from the start was great and finding and getting into the house was very easy. The house had good wifi and parking was right next to the entrance. The church next door was lovely as was the surrounding area. We would definitely stay again as it was ideal to relax and enjoy country life.

Wonderful stay at the house in the woods! Sylvie and Gilles are so nice, and so discreet. The little woodcutter's cottage is perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay. In the middle of a wood, punctuated by the song of cicadas, the cottage offers everything you need: a functional and complete kitchen, 2 toilets, a bathroom and 2 bedrooms, 1 of which has a view during a full moon night that is magical. The pool is also very comfortable during periods of high heat and very large. Everything is clean, tidy and welcoming, nothing missing. And there are many activities nearby, canoeing, cave, mill... Don't hesitate to stay at the house in the woods!!
