Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Le Bernard

As mentioned, no TV and reception is complicated. A small box would make people happy for the rental of this pretty little piece of heaven. Very nice and helpful host, total change of scenery in this small house in the heart of the Vendée countryside.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Hulotte. The place is perfect for both families and groups of friends, with many activities on site. We celebrated the end of our partials in a relaxed atmosphere, with the possibility of listening to music freely. The heated hot tub was much appreciated. However, there is a small downside regarding the pool, which we also thought heated according to the information provided by the host, but which was unfortunately not.

The cottage is a peaceful oasis: in the middle of nature and surrounded by animals but kept at a distance. It matched the photos: nicely decorated with this marine touch and well arranged.

quiet and green, the rental is a haven of peace to rest and unwind. The owners are very attentive to make your stay a pleasant stopover.

Sam was a very friendly and helpful host and the house was extremely well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Avrillé is a great base from which to explore the coast between La Rochelle and Sablés d'Olonne ( plage des Conches was a great recommendation from Sam). If staying local you can always lunch at the Lion d'Or (a relais routier). Rita and I enjoyed our stay immensely and I would like to thank Sam once again for finding my jacket and following us up the road to catch up with us before we left town.

We had an absolutely perfect stay in this apartment! Everything was as advertised, spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. The welcome was warm and attentive, and Jean-Yves, our host, was simply great: available, responsive and very friendly. It immediately feels like a home away from home. I recommend it without a second thought and will not hesitate to come back!

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

This apartment is in a great location with views over the harbour and the sea. It is clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We like that once there it is possible to leave your car in its parking space and walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. A lovely place for a calm and restful holiday.
