I was extremely happy and satisfied with the place. For parking matters, ask in advance, you can purchase a full-time parking permit for the blue zone in the municipality, 3 minutes walk away. I would check in with Elisabeth again anytime. TOP

What a wonderful place Appenzell is, and this is the perfect place to see it all. The apartment is very large and comfortable and very clean. Berti has made sure you have everything you need. The terrasse is great for any meal or just coffee. The town is beautiful. The walk to the train station is easy as you can window shop your way there. The town has lots of beautiful stores and restaurants. We highly recommend a train ride to Ebenalp for the cable car, dining and hiking. The tourist card is a wonderful addition. Bertie’s place is quiet and peaceful at night for a good night’s sleep so you can hit the ground running the next day!!

Nice and clean place for one person. The apartment is centrally located, but still very quiet. It takes about 10 minutes on foot to get to the city/lake. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need, the bathroom was relatively large and there is underfloor heating. Stephan and Oksana were very friendly hosts and even provided some snacks and drinks.

The place is very well situated, in a quiet neighborhood but at walkable distance to the old city. There is a supermarket nearby and several restaurants. The place is easy to access by car, super clean and quite comfortable for a family of four. We thank our hosts for the hospitality…

My recommendation: Don't think twice if it's available – just book! You won't be sorry! The location is fantastic, with a fantastic view of Lake Walen, the furnishings leave nothing to be desired, and Annemarie is just incredibly warm→ ❤️. Particularly charming: the little lizards that watched us curiously from the window sill. We will be back!

We had a wonderful short vacation in Allgäu. Petra and Hartmut are super lovely people. The room and bath were very clean and cozy. We had a list of recommendations on what to do, where to eat, etc. Coffee maker and fridge were available, as well as cutlery and dishes, so you could have a nice breakfast every morning. We did it on the terrace with a great view. What should be noted is that all supermarkets close at 8 PM. All shopping should be done beforehand. The restaurant 2 minutes' walk away, Brauerei Gasthof Engelbräu, is also highly recommended. We didn't miss anything and we'd come back any time!

Janine is a very hospitable, helpful, and attentive host. Her home was spotlessly clean and gave us great peace of mind during our family stay. The location is perfect—nestled in the Alps and right by a flowing stream, we enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay. The house is equipped with everything you might need.

We had a wonderful stay at this great house with incredible views! The house is modern, clean, nicely decorated, with spacious rooms and fitted wardrobes, nothing is missing. The highlight is definitely the outdoor area with covered seating, lounge and garden!

Had a great time at Ailine's place. Close to Lake Constance (i.e. Bodensee), Ravensburg and Friedrichshafen. Halfway between Munich and Freiburg (Black Forest) and 30-60 Minutes to Austria and Switzerland.

I was allowed to call Michaela's place my home for the last few days. From check-in, stay to check-out, everything went smoothly. I immediately felt comfortable in the apartment, where everything is available for everyday needs. A small welcome snack package completes the whole. Michaela is always available for questions. Really nice appartment perfectly located in Walenstadt. It's a two-bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen and both roomy bathroom and living/diningroom. Highlight is the nice view from the living room as well as the outside area. Fully and well equipped: comfortable beds, the kitchen incl. dish-washing and coffee machines, living room featuring TV incl. gaming console, grill in the exterior area. Some details went beyond expectations: bathroom with pleasant toileteries, complete equipment to grill outside. Location is really convenient. Aprox 10 min walk from both the centre of Walenstadt, as well as from the lake and the big playground for the kids. The area is residential area, at the very end of street hence quite and reassuring for the kids playing outside. Michaela was a wonderful host, preparing the appartment up to details, and also answering questions and helping us to make the stay even more convenient. Looking forward to coming back soon!

The apartment has some of the best views of anywhere we have stayed. Spectacular mountain scenery for relaxing in the evenings. A fantastic location to be based for hiking the Liechtenstein way for a week. All amenities you could need are provided. Bus stop 1 minute from the apartment to bring you to Vaduz with easy connections to everywhere, or Malbun in the other direction. We did not meet Sigi but she gave clear instructions and was responsive to all of our questions.

We felt at home in the apartment. The apartment is even nicer than the pictures. The kitchen is superbly equipped for every cooking experiment. The view will take your breath away and peaceful at the same time. The farm shop in the village is also worth a visit, as well as the milk filling station. Greta was super friendly and had great tips for us. We will be happy to come back.

Large apartment that is well furnished with a kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The neighbourhood is also very quiet - all we could hear were birds chirping. We also appreciated the clear instructions given by Raphael and Dianna. Overall, this is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Appenzell region!

We had 1 night's accommodation for 4 people on our way to Switzerland. We were very impressed with the decor of the apartment. Very original, modern, with attention to every detail. Very clean, comfortable. Parking just in front of the entrance, which was convenient for us because we were with bikes. We didn't visit the neighborhood because we only stayed overnight. For 4 people, it was quite sufficient. It was great!

Beautiful apartment, everything you need to feel good, a beautiful terrace. Pets allowed, a plus. a quiet environment, close to all activities. We loved it 👌❤️
