Apartment vacation rentals in L'Aquila

Every now and then you are lucky enough to meet nice people, this is what happened to us with Alessandro, a kind, honest and prepared homeowner! On behalf of my entire family, I thank him so much and wish him a happy life!

What a great place to stay, Zita and Hugh where wonderful hosts. We were met and shown the place along with some history. We've been to this area about 9 time since 2011 and travelled to Capestrano many times but this was the first time we stayed in Capestrano. We use to only go to one restaurant in the town but now staying here we ended up going to four, all good. The location is really good for day trips to Sulmona, Popoli, Navelli, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Rocca Calascio and if you get the chance Campo Imperatore for arrosticini. We were 2 couples and we loved the place, the amenities made the place feel like home, the kitchen fully equipped, the washing machine and large common area for eating and relaxing. We had other friends in the area who came over for a drink and they all loved it as well. Thanks Zita and Hugh for providing a wonderful place.

Francas home was gorgeous. We felt right at home straight away. Incredible nights stay right under the mountain. Franca was so kind and helpful towards us. It was lovely to meet her! Thank you!

Super unique place in a quiet, hillside village... you feel like you have stepped back in time! Giorgia is very responsive and helpful. Would recommend as a home-base to explore the surrounding area.

This was a magical experience. I cannot imagine a kinder and more helpful host than Kevin, and I can’t imagine a more magical location. Great advice on things to do in the area and incredibly helpful in terms of getting us oriented and “plugged in” in Capestrano.

The stay was perfect in every way! The apartment was exactly as described, ideal for a family of 4. The location was convenient for reaching the start of the itinerary that leads to the Rascino Plateau. Reno and Elisabetta were very kind and helpful: in addition to the 0-km welcome sweets, they provided us with useful information on what to visit, where to eat and made sure we didn't miss anything throughout the stay. I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a few days in the area. I'll definitely be back!

Simon and Chiara are great hosts, perfect communication, they waiting us later evening in the house, every day Chiara prepare and bring super breakfast, give to us a lot useful informations about trips. Apartment is clean, very cozy, with air conditioning - we need heating every day, was cold weather during the night. Finally view from the balcony is amazing, I never forgot morning coffee on this place. Definitely I can recommended this place, we would like come back. Thanks Chiara and Simon

Beautiful and very clean house. An excellent renovation has been done and it is very functional and cozy. With the double fixtures you can barely hear the bar below, however you can hear something.

Really impeccable apartment. Very well stocked and beautifully maintained. Equipped with everything and very clean. Gabriele and his wife are two very kind and wonderful people for their availability and attention. Highly recommended for a stay in the mountains thanks to the wonderful opportunities offered by Majella and for the really comfortable accommodation. Andrea welcomed us, also anticipating the entrance, with friendliness and availability. The house is perfect in its rooms, with renovated and very clean environments. The palace is located in the middle of one of the main courses, so everything is easily accessible on foot. Nearby parking always found despite the full period. Great stay, absolutely to repeat!

Everything was perfect! Andrea was very kind and picked us up so we didn't go wrong. The apartment is a little gem!

I had a pleasure to stay at Laura's place for a week. Despite being in the very center, the apartment is very quiet to rest. Every morning I did jogging in the nearby park with amazing castle and the fountain. Speechless! Laura's list with the places to go, has worked - there are restaurants and bars to visit and have a good time with your friends, colleagues and family.

This unit is in the historic area of Penne. Francesco told us ahead of time which street to find parking. He had his wife communicate with us because she is fluent in English. She proactively sent us information about the Good Friday procession and checked periodically to see if we needed anything or had any questions. Very communicative! The unit is small, but it worked perfectly for us. We really like Penne and the area. Hope to be back soon!

We had a medical issue with one of the guests and Alessandro offered all type of help to get the guest to the floor where the apartment was . Alessandro was very companionate with us and offered to be flexible with the check out time. We loved the different stunning views of the mountains and the land escape from different balconies the apartment offered If you need tranquility do not miss on renting this gem of a place The only issue we had was at the time we were there the connectivity of the WiFi was very slow Alessandro worked on it dealing with internet provider to fix it right away Other than this we really lucked out in this apartment. Thank you and may be next time we can stay longer.

Wonderful place in the San Grasso region.

Great host! She welcomed us warmly and showed us the property. The swimming pool is kinda panoramic and quite big. We could also do barbecue in the evening :) Dogs are allowed in and this is a plus

Beautiful property, everything faithfully corresponding to the photos and description of the listing. It is a small but beautiful regenerating oasis of tranquility and beauty, excellent for leaving behind hectic rhythms and stress. Amelia and her partner are excellent hosts, always available for any need and never intrusive. We will definitely be back!!

Stefano's apartment is perfect for those who plan to spend a few days of tranquility in a beautiful part of Abruzzo, in the middle of the Gran Sasso park. Spacious, fully equipped, clean, with a garden overlooking the surrounding mountains. The apartment is perfect for families, even with small children. The added value of this apartment is definitely the hospitality of Stefano and his family. Stefano's father, Dino, welcomed me and my family as fraternal friends, giving excellent advice on the area and even helping us with the housekeeping (on several occasions, even early in the morning, he helped me light the fireplace). Stefano even brought us some great meat from the butcher shop where he works. In short, perfect accommodation and incredible hospitality! When we go to Abruzzo, we will definitely return to this home!

Well done and recently renovated apartment. The rooms are spacious and can comfortably accommodate 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with everything and the two bathrooms, very clean, give an extra help to prepare. There are supermarkets nearby and the highway is just a few miles away. Highly recommended!!

Words are not enough to describe how incredibly beautiful it is here! Everything is even nicer than in the photos! Raffaele & Carla are fantastic hosts and have created an absolute paradise here. Thought out to every detail and created with a lot of love and incredible care, a place you don't want to leave. The property is a dream as well as the view of mountains and sea! The apartments are equipped with everything you need! They also gave us the best tips for restaurants and excursions and were always available when we needed something. We are already planning our next vacation here next year! Thank you so much for this great holiday!
