Guesthouse vacation rentals in Lapland

We had a wonderful stay in Rovaniemi. We did everything on foot. The park behind the Arktikum Museem (best place to watch the Northern Lights!) is very easy to access from the studio and going into town is also very simple. The apartment is very warm, a real cozy nest! We slept really well all week. And the sauna is a real plus too! Petteri is very nice and responsive to messages if needed. We even saw a white hare in their garden in the snow, it was magical. In short, a good place!

You can never imagine what you're going to find from photos or description-it really falls short. For those who love nature and tranquility, it is a paradise in the middle of Lapland, surrounded by trees, the lake and snow, you will be able to disconnect from everything 100%. I really recommend that you leave your phone and explore the surroundings on foot, your guide Rollo (the dog in the house) is the best option hehehe. Marja is a 10+ as a host, a very friendly and pleasant person, close, who will make you feel at home and much better, I can assure you. Take advantage of and soak up their character by sharing a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever you like sitting in their living room, or next to the fire pit.

Beautiful location and smooth communication. The modern toilet and shower are some stairs uphill. The cabin is cozy and has everything that we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

The place is great to spot northern lights, do hikings, and come across reindeers. Me and friend traveled during winter and we were gratefully surprised. Really recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Mist! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature but still close enough to local attractions. The hosts were friendly and made sure we felt at home. A nice little apartment with everything we needed. The apartment was clean and quiet. Our daughter immediately played with the children of the hosts (despite the language barrier). The hosts were very nice and spoke very good English and even a little German. We were also able to charge our electric car at a fair price via the outdoor socket. Everything was great. We had a fantastic stay at Ari’s place. Ari was extremely friendly, accommodating and had brilliant activities suggestions throughout our stay (which he kindly arranged for us last minute). We thoroughly enjoyed all the activities Ari had planned for us. The activities were hosted by locals in small groups and it was really personal and private. It felt very different from the usual tours we booked online. We would highly recommend anyone to choose this place, because it honestly far exceeded our expectations. We would choose to stay here again, in a heartbeat, if we were to come back to Rovaniemi.

Very nice cabin to stay in. Fresh bathroom and toilets, a large + with the nice sauna and a calm area. Ample equipped cottage. Perfectly suited for a family with children. Comfortable beds and proper duvets to sleep with. Thank you for a nice winter holiday in Ruka, we are happy to come several times😊

We have spent more than a week at Vesa’s apartment and it was perfect. Vesa is a very nice guy who has always helped us and has given us very good tips for the activities to do in Rovaniemi. The Apartment was very clean, beautiful and the sauna was very good. We have really enjoyed our stay and will always come back to this apartment when we are going to Rovaniemi.
