A well-equipped log cabin in Jokijärvi, Taivalkoski, Finland´s Northeast. The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen + 1 bedroom. During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

A small beach cottage near the center of Ranua, on its own peninsula right by the lake. The cottage is connected to a traditional Finnish wood sauna and a real shower in the dressing room attached to the sauna. The cottage is very traditional with a bit of modernization. From the deck, a great view of the lake! There is no indoor toilet in the cottage. Instead, there's a traditional Finnish outdoor shower in the yard.
