Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lapland

We enjoyed staying at Tapanis amazing place. The view is beautiful beyond words. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. We would love to come back.

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Ihana vanha hyvällä maulla remontoitu pirtti rauhallisella paikalla. Kanat tepastelivat pihalla ja omistaja oli oikein mukava. Ilta-aurinko paisteli kauniisti sisälle ja aamulla kävimme saunassa. Todella siisti ja kaikki mukavuudet löytyivät. Täytyy tulla toistekin!

Das Haus ist außergewöhnlich, wunderschön und direkt am See gelegen. Die Einrichtung ist natürlich, modern und mit viel Holz; wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Zu beachten ist die sehr abgeschiedene Lage; die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Supermarkt) ist ca. 15 Fahrminuten entfernt. Aber mit entsprechender Planung ist auch das kein Problem. Wir haben die ruhige idyllische Lage sehr genossen.

Das Haus und die Aussicht sind wunderschön. Es war sehr sauber und wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Der Whirlpool war ein Highlight und dass wir natürlich fast jeden Abend die Nordlichter gesehen haben. Wir konnten uns sehr entspannen, aber auch einige Unternehmungen in der Gegend machen. Wir sind traurig, dass wir schon nach Hause müssen. Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum und jeden Preis wert, wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Danke für alles.

Uiterst gezellig en mooi huis. Wij vonden het perfect gelegen, net buiten centrum akaslompolo, naast de de ingang van het natuur reservaat. Hierdoor alles te bereiken binnen 5min (met wagen) maar toch in een heel rustige omgeving. Voor ons de perfecte uitvalbasis voor wandelingen en activiteiten. Huis was heel gezellig ingericht, houtvuur, grote glaspartij geeft fantastisch zicht op de natuur. Alles is voorzien en deftig en netjes onderhouden, ook keuken ruim voorzien van materiaal en toestellen. Slaapkamers aan de iets kleinere kant, maar zeker voldoende voor ons. Kinderen vonden de stapelbed met gordijnen fantastisch. Sanitair zeer netjes, geen aparte badkamer wel toilet met grote lavabo die we gebruikt hebben als badkamer. Droogkast heel handig voor drogen van kledij na een dag in we sneeuw. Sanna heel correcte en eerlijke host. Reageert direct via sms/telefoon. Ook altijd bereidt om lokale info te bezorgen. Fantastisch verblijf gehad. Huis en locatie absolute aanrader!

Majoittuminen sujui hyvin. Voisin lomailla mökissä toisenkin kerran.

We had an amazing stay here. The location is very quiet, the snow was still white (unlike in the city), though the road to the place can be slippery. The apartment is large enough, well equipped, very clean. I think the kitchen has everything you need. We were lucky enough to see the auroras almost every night during our stay here, it was perfect! Thanks for making our last days in Finland even more magical!

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt bei euch! Es war super! Wir waren fünf Tage dort, konnten jeden Abend Polarlichter sehen und hatten viel Spaß, die Gegend zu erkunden. Die Unterkunft ist gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen und dank etwas Vorbereitung konnten wir in der gut ausgestatteten Küche hervorragend kochen und essen. Ein absolutes Highlight war auch das von den Anwohnern gekochte Mittagessen mit anschließendem Bingo. Wir möchten ein ganz großes Danke sagen. Es war sehr gemütlich bei euch!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Lage direkt neben dir Piste ist toll, auch zum Supermarkt sind es nur wenige Schritte. Die Kommunikation mit Minna lief immer schnell und zuverlässig ab. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen:)

Magnifique séjour dans le logement à Miia. Quel bel appartement, nous serions bien restés plus longtemps tellement nous nous y sentions bien. Miia a été très accueillante et nous étions libres de venir quand nous le souhaitions. De superbes activités sont proposées tout autour du logement, c’était vraiment pratique et idéal pour nous. Merci pour tout !

Dziękujemy Marianne za gościnę. Domek przytulny, idealny dla 4 osób. Wyposażenie domku bardzo dogodne, było w nim wszystko co trzeba na tygodniowy pobyt. Łóżka wygodne, w salonie miejsce do spędzania czasu po południu, internet działa bez zarzutu. Dobre położenie domku, na uboczu, cisza i zaledwie 20 min. spacerem do sklepu, restauracji, barów i innych atrakcji miasteczka. Nie mieliśmy samochodu, ale to w niczym nie przeszkadzało. Do tras biegówkowych dochodziliśmy w kilka minut. Marianne poradziła nam jak najlepiej dojechać z lotniska, uprzedzała jak pojawiała się zorza. Jak mieliśmy jakiekolwiek pytania przed albo w czasie pobytu zawsze odpowiadała w ciągu kilku minut. Dom Marianne był bardzo dobrym miejscem na tygodniowy pobyt. Bardzo rekomenduję! Dziękujemy i pozdrawiamy.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft & haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles sehr sauber & bei Fragen hat uns Sari schnell weitergeholfen. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen! :)

Mökki tosi siisti ja erinomaisella paikalla ja sieltä oli vaivatonta mennä rinteeseen. Eijalta ja Mikolta sai apua aina ja nopeasti kun sitä tarvitsi. He antoivat myös hyviä vinkkejä, mitä muuta tehdä, jos talviliikunta ei onnistunut esim säästä johtuen tai ei huvittanut. Revontulivinkit oli hyvät. Tämän mökin valitsemme jos toiste tulemme Suomulle.

The cabin is very nice and cozy, Aino and Anna are very good hosts, they are very responsive and gave us good tips on what to do in the area. One evening we were lucky to watch northern lights from their pier, which was wonderful, while sitting on reindeer skin :) We also went ice fishing with Aino and Anna and rented some skiing equipment which was a good activity to do during our stay :) Aino and Anna also prepared some fish for us which was very nice. The only disadvantage of the place is that the main road is near the cabin so you can see and hear cars driving by from time to time when outside which disrupts the feeling of nature a bit. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place :)

Moderni, valoisa ja kodikas paritalon puolikas, tunnelmallisesta saunatilasta ja hyvinvarustellusta keittiöstä plussaa. Omistajapariskunta vastasi nopeasti ja ystävällisesti viesteihin. Tänne voisin tulla toistekin majoittumaan!

Majoitus vastasi kuvia sekä kuvausta, oli oikein siisti ja erittäin viihtyisä. Majoittajan kanssa viesiminen oli helppoa ja sujuvaa :)

Wir waren zu zweit für 12 Nächte in Lokka. Die Unterkunft ist genauso wie Markku es beschrieben hat. Super schön, ruhig gelegen und ein direkter Ausblick auf den See. In der Nähe lässt es sich prima spazieren gehen. Für die Tagesausflüge muss man allerdings relativ weit fahren, aber die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen und lassen sich mit den Ausflügen prima verbinden. Markku war immer freundlich, gut zu erreichen und hatte viele gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Der Check In und Check Out sind sehr schnell und einfach. Die Hütte ist super gut ausgestattet, insbesondere was die Küche betrifft ist alles da was man zum Kochen oder Backen benötigt. Die Sauna und der Ofen sind natürlich ein Highlight. In einem Ordner ist alles sehr gut erklärt. Vor Ort kümmert sich Mikko bei Bedarf, auch er war sehr freundlich und schnell vor Ort als wir Probleme mit dem Türschloss hatten. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

We stayed at Salme's cottage on the lake for almost a month during our parental leave, with our baby and our dog. The house is very well kept and extremely clean. The view on the lake is stunning and the area Is surrounded by forest. There is everything you may need for a nice stay, whether it's in winter or summer. Salme is very kind and helpful, and will be happy to give suggestions on things to do if needed. Overall one of our best experiences as guests on Airbnb!

Aivan mahtava paikka, rauhallinen ja upeat maisemat. Lammen rantaa pitkin kulkien näki upeaa luontoa ja eläimiä. Saunassa todella hyvät löylyt, ei kannata lämmittää liikaa! Toisena aamuna yhtäkkiä kahvinkeitintä käyttäessä sähkö pätki, eikä keittämisestä meinannut tulla mitään, kun virta sammui joka kerta. On kiva mökki, suosittelen!
