My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating our honeymoon at Wolftrap farm! The hosts were incredibly welcoming , professional, and responsive! They were available and willing to answer any questions we had! The view was breathtaking. Our pups enjoyed seeing the horses and the daily walks around the farm. An amazing stay for our group! It was a beautiful and peaceful environ and the house and local neighborhood had some fantastic amenities and perks that we were fully encouraged to enjoy and take advantage of. We had a full group of 8 people and and it was perfect for our needs.

The house was well kept and had everything we needed. We loved the amount of space for our family of 5! The patio, deck with grill and fire pit were wonderful additions. The area and yard were beautiful. Such a wonderful getaway!

Tracy was a fantastic host who made us right at home. We loved being back in the woods and had a relaxing stay. Definitely appreciated a host who had some really delicious restaurant recommendations. We hope to be back soon.

My siblings and I had a great stay visiting family in the area. This magical horse farm was very friendly and th house was beautifully comfortable for work and plày.

Charles Cabin was the perfect getaway for our 8th anniversary! We live about an hour and a half away in the DMV, and we always enjoy a good country retreat, which is exactly what this spot offers. From the barns and horses to the scenic mountain views, everything about this cabin was just what we needed. The hot tub was a great bonus, but the highlight for me was the fenced yard for our dog. The view from the hot tub and the house was incredible, and the cabin had everything we needed for an extended stay. We found ourselves enjoying the cabin and the relaxation so much that we didn’t feel the need to leave and explore. We’ll definitely be booking again!

My husband and I stayed for two weeks with our dog between moves. We absolutely loved it and felt very at home. Everyone we interacted with: Marisol, Bob, Susan as well as the tenants upstairs could not have been more welcoming! They made a time of transition in our lives so much easier than we anticipated!

Great stay. David was super responsive and nice. The place was great and well equipped. The back yard (unfanced) was beautiful and very nice to sit at. Our dog also loved it. We came to hike Old Rag mountain and the drive to there was only 25 minutes to the trail head. The city Culpeper next to it had everything we needed.

Great place on the lake. Would definitely come back. Love the little beach.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay! The house was very clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with plenty of cookware, games, books, and extra linens and blankets. The area was so beautiful, with rolling hills, mountain views, farm scenery, fragrant fresh air, and spectacular star views at night. My city dog absolutely loved getting to run and play in the well maintained large fenced in yard! Billy and Margit provided dog treats, yard toys, extra leash, water/food bowls, dog towels, pet proof trash lids, and sofa cover indicating that dogs are allowed on the sofa. My dog was so welcomed! Billy and Margit provided whole bean coffee that they freshly roasted, and a bean grinder. The coffee was amazing! Really enjoyed drinking the coffee in the mornings while listening to the chorus of birds chirping. Hiked at Whiteoak Canyon Falls, less than 20 minutes from Amy's place. The early check in and late check out times were another generous touch that was enjoyed. Would love to stay again!

When my husband and I travel to Virginia to visit our daughter and her family, we prefer Shade Tree Cottage to any other B&B we have tried. It is such a pleasant place with plenty of space for family visits and meals. It is located between Charlottesville and Richmond allowing great day trips with our granddaughters. We have always been warmly welcomed and every need we could possibly have has been thoughtfully provided for. We think of Shade Tree as our home away. The Hastings

The place is very cutely decorated with yellow accents which made it very cheery! She had water bottles and coffee pods available which was helpful with our late flight arrival.

This place is a gem!! We stayed here with another couple for my 40th birthday and had dinner reservations just down the street at Three Blacksmiths (cannot recommend that enough). The house was so cute, clean, and comfortable for our needs. Bonus- it was just a short walk to the restaurant and right across the street from a great little coffee shop. From the beginning Sarah was super responsive and accommodating to a special request, which was much appreciated!! Highly recommend staying here if you’re traveling to Sperryville and thank you, Sara, for an amazing 40th birthday!!

A beautiful home in a peaceful and relaxing setting. The home was well cared for and very clean. As soon as we arrived we were excited to sit out back around the fire pit and enjoy the evening stars. We enjoyed all of the amenities the home had to offer. Lots of space to walk and enjoy the outdoors. The host was very responsive to all our questions prior to booking and all of their instructions were easy to follow. Thank you for the great experience.

Lindy was a wonderful host and her place was just perfect for us. We booked it to be close to where our son was getting married and it was just great. She left us farm fresh eggs and some breakfast goodies which was much appreciated!! The bed was very comfortable and the property was very calm, peaceful and quiet. Everything was spotless too. Really recommend!

My partner and I stayed twice in a month we loved it so much! Kim was gracious enough to have our elopement on the property. Beautiful scenery and an amazing cabins. Quaint and peaceful. We will definitely be back!!

overall the stay was wonderful only complaint was the hot water smelled like metal which I'm extremely sensitive too so it was a strugglebto get my kids bathed.

The place and the hostess were a dream come true to make my getaway weekend with the gals amazing before I got ready for my wedding. This place was amazing for my bridal get ready - the natural light and decor made my photos effortlessly beautiful. The birds chirping outside the windows at only the best times, the cute decor, privacy, and space was just what I needed. And the hostess is absolutely sweet. No regrets. Loved it!

Nice place! Well supplied kitchen with all essentials. Also, the space in the small bathroom was utilized well. We liked how the toiletries were organized. It was easy to find anything you needed. Very cozy. The place is in a nice location but it is right next to a few other buildings (garage, storage shed) that I did not realize when looking at listing. Very quiet. The host was very responsive to any questions I had.

Very nice house. Served our purpose perfectly. Amber was helpful and good at communicating. The listing does warn renters of cameras.
