Vacation rentals with a patio in Lake of the Woods

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

We had a wonderful stay and we loved being able to bring our dog with us. Close to town and very close to the wedding venue we were going to, which was super convenient. Easy drive to Shenandoah as well. The apartment was large and had a lot of really nice touches to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay again if we’re in the area in the future!

They were such a great stay! We had to leave early and were very understanding, we would stay with them again!

Erin’s place is the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed at. The shower is huge and the water pressure is better than what I have at home. There’s plenty of room for luggage, and she supplies everything you would need for a nice little getaway. I’ll be booking through Erin every time I’m visiting Virginia.

This was such a lovely place to stay, very convenient to lots to do but also very quiet and peaceful. Melissa was so nice. A great stay!!!

APARTMENT: The house is in a beautiful neighborhood that felt incredibly safe, which was a big relief. Plenty of parking. The apartment itself was immaculate and had everything anyone could ever need. The host even provided snacks which we were so grateful for after driving 8+ hours and then sitting through a graduation ceremony! HOST: We drove from Ohio with absolutely nothing planned out other than knowing we had to be at a graduation ceremony immediately upon arrival. I came across this listing and messaged the host. Lena was very responsive and was so kind to accommodate a much appreciated early check in. She provided very clear and easy to follow instructions for check in/out. Absolutely 10/10 stay, and with family in the area, this will absolutely be the 1st place we check when planning our future trips! Thank you so much!

This is a hidden gem, I loved it, everything is clean, tidy, the views are incredible, my family and I had a great time celebrating my birthday.

Andy and Ling’s house is gorgeous!! So beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. The game room is beyond cool! The kitchen has everything you need to cook. This house is the perfect getaway for a large family!!!

This place is one of the best we've stayed in! The renovation choices were excellent, especially the lighting. We could easily live here! If you love the outdoors, the front porch seating was perfect for a morning cup of coffee even if chilly because the sun comes up there first. And the back yard was so private and quiet, you don't know you are in town.

This was my third time staying at Sarah’s place, and it continues to be one of my favorites. The house is always spotless and is attractively and thoughtfully designed. The wooded area ensures a quiet stay. You can tell Sarah puts a lot of care into the space. Communication is always easy and friendly, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend (again)!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed eating dinner and playing games on the deck while looking out on the lake. The owner was very responsive and helpful (even when we accidentally left something behind). I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Colby's place was a great place to stay. clean, felt at home and very thoughtful host. Hopefully next time I can book a longer stay as this was a very nice place to relax

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

Good apartment. Comfortable, clean. "3 beds" includes a couch. We were 1 adult and 2 teenagers. Teens slept in bedrooms, adult on couch, all good although there were no sheets for "bed 3" (the couch), just a blanket we found in a closet. Neighbors are very active; someone seemed to be moving furniture all day upstairs until about 10pm but then quiet all night. Apartment is well equipped with towels, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher. Super clean. Location was perfect for my family's needs around S. Alexandria/Hybla Valley area. Lots of shops and restaurants in easy driving distance. Great AirBnB experience overall, would love to be able to return. :)

Stay met our needs! Kitchen was very nice to cook in and was very clean.

We came for a graduation and Bill’s space was perfect for what we needed: private, clean, and comfortable. He was welcoming but not intrusive, and we felt safe. We’d definitely stay again!

My friends and I were in town for an important event that would demand much of our time, so we wanted to secure a place that would require much effort. Thanks to Isaac's hospitality and communication, we had a most enable and carefree travel experience. He could not have been more proactive in his pre-stay message, nor more responsive to our questions after we arrived.

Beautiful location, up the hill from the water! Great fishing and easy to get around the local area! House was spotless and smelled clean when we walked in. Bed was comfortable! They've thought of everything! Will visit again!

Excellent place to stay for a week's travel in Washington DC. What a beautiful and peaceful area with the Italian restaurant nearby. highly recommended.
