Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Nipissing

Our family really enjoyed our time at this beautiful cabin! Check in was quick and easy and Jadey was extremely responsive to messages. Communication was great from arrival to departure. While we did not have access to the wifi, these things happen and we understood. A storm that blew in the day prior caused some issues which didn’t affect our enjoyment and it was a good opportunity to “unplug”. Included availability of the Kayaks, canoes, and water bike was a great way to explore. Excellent location for young families looking to spend relaxing days on the clear and shallow beach with the kids. We also took advantage of the basketball net and tennis court on the cooler days. Overall we had a great stay at Sunset Cove and have no doubt we will return again in the future! Thank you Jadey and Jack.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming lakeside cottage! From the moment we arrived, our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — they were incredibly kind, responsive, and full of thoughtful touches that made the experience feel extra special. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. But the real showstopper is the location — the views of the lake are absolutely breathtaking. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee on the dock or watching the sunset reflect off the water in the evening, every moment felt serene and magical. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by natural beauty and hosted by genuinely lovely people, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

The church studio is super cute, comfy and great for some time in the nature. Aly is a very good host and described the place exactly as it was. Great spot for a weekend getaway with a small group.

Brooke’s place was perfect for our wedding weekend! She was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had! Her place is big and private from neighbours! We would recommend Brooke’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful place to spend their holidays

We stayed at Jennifer’s place for mine and my now husband’s wedding weekend. It was a lovely stay, comfortable bed and beautiful view of the lake from the multiple decks. We are from Sudbury but now live down south so we didn’t look through Jennifer’s full list of recommendations since we were both born and raised in Sudbury 😅 but she did have a very detailed binder for out of town guests! Overall I would absolutely recommend and would definitely stay again!

This was our third time staying here and as always the accommodations were clean and the pool and hot tub were a hit! Great location, walking distance to downtown restaurants and activities.

4 of us stayed here for a week and it was more than we could’ve ever wanted! The apartment was beautiful and spacious with an amazing view of the lake. The outdoor seating areas were perfect for enjoying the weather and lake. Everything you could need for cooking was there and made making meals super easy. Overall we had a wonderful and would love to visit again!

Beyond grateful for Lesley & Ian. Absolutely loved this piece of Paradise. You were both so very friendly & helpful. The place was Peaceful & had such a beautiful view from any room. We truly look forward to staying here again in the near future. Thank you once again for everything

If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind II highly recommend this place. It is very welcoming comfortable and spotless. Jason and Paulette made us feel right at home. The property is immaculate surrounded by nature. Will definitely be back!!

This place was a 5 star rating all the way. We had everything we needed to cook with, ample space and spacious bedrooms and laundry facility to help go home with clean clothes. Great host. couldn't ask for better.

This apartment was decorated simply and tactfully. Large fridge keurig and coffee, tea, sugar, non dairy creamer and basic spices. Bed very comfortable. The cleanest AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at.

Great place to stay in Huntsville, close to the lake and provincial park with lots of winter activities. Igor was very helpful and accomodating.

Peter was very quick with his responses and took the time to look up what was near the air bnb. The location was amazing since it was right beside a ski resort and 20 minutes away was the most beautiful skating trail in the forest. The air bnb itself was very nice. We cooked dinner and it had everything we needed and seasoning as well. The only thing would be the TV which we didn’t bring a laptop to connect to, which Peter did communicate to us we needed. It was a very great stay and Peter was ever helpful and kind ! Will come back in the summer for the lake.

I wish we could give 10 stars! Everything from the booking, to the information received beforehand, to communication while we were there, was fantastic. The amenities helped us wind down after a family wedding and celebrate our daughter's birthday! Jesse was very flexible for meeting our family's need and hopes while we were in Huntsville. We had a great time and hopefully will be back soon! PS playing pacman and making espressos were definitely highlights!!!

We recently stayed at Phil’s place and although short, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Kitchen is very well equipt, beds are comfortable, it was clean, quiet and the views looking over the water were amazing. Be mindful that there are two sets of full stairs to get from the bedrooms to the kitchen but would we go there again, absolutely.

The perfect little get away. The condo was super clean and updated, as well as homey/welcoming. Pino provided everything you could need. The view was beautiful. It was just what we needed for the best weekend.

The condo was beautifully decorated, very clean with lots of extras. The beds were large and comfortable. We enjoyed an afternoon on the terrace in peaceful surroundings. I must admit this was the best of all stays I've experienced and I will definitely return. The host was responsive and assisted when requested. highly recommended..
