“The River Cabin is EXACTLY like the photos. It is an absolutely beautiful place to unplug and relax while taking in all the natural beauty of Ontario. Charlene is very easy to get in contact with if need be, and she is very informative as to what you should expect to bring with you on your stay. Pack like you are camping, as mentioned in the description, there is no electricity, running water or service. It is a true escape, which is what we were looking for. The fast flowing river is so soothing to sleep to and our dog loved cooling off in the slower parts of it. We can hardly wait to return!”

“Thank you for such a wonderful stay! Loved the cottage - warm cozy and everything that we could have possibly wanted was there. Loved the fact we could feed the deer and birds, every morning greeted by deer munching on corn 2 inches away from the deck. The amenities were perfect - hot tub - barbeque - pizza oven outside amazing! Ideal location for the ski hills could walk there from the cottage. Can't say enough about this cottage - gas stove that was amazing for our meals and outside barbeque for a wonderful steak dinner. There was a 60 inch TV and woodfire place to keep us warm and relaxed. We only had three nights could have used a week , every thing was just perfect. The pictures don't do this place justice...Will be back again for sure!”

“Thank you very much for such a lovely stay! Our stay was amazing, the cottage is beyond fantastic! Super modern, very clean, comfortable but still very stylish! Right on the water with a great little beach and a great deck! Kayaking in the river was a blast! Very thoughtful with plenty of kids toys. Two slides outside, kids toys / table / dinnerware! I was truly surprised. It really is the perfect place to bring your kids! And my daughter loved all the kids stuff lol, she couldn’t stop playing at the slide outside. She loved the beach, which the water is shallow enough for her to play in! Garth and Rebecca are great hosts! Very thoughtful with everything, and always answered right away. I did not have one problem with getting in touch with them, always ready to help! Thank you so much for a great stay! We will be definitely booking another stay soon! Victoria & Michael”
