“Garth & Rebecca were super friendly, communicative, and flexible hosts throughout our stay. The area is easily accessible to/from Huntsville, but also secluded and private. The house itself was spotless and the amenities/appliances were very modern. The compost toilet surprisingly had no smell and was hassle-free. Some of the highlights of our trip was watching the beautiful sunset on the deck, using the luxurious hot tub, and relaxing by the fire pit at night. Overall, we had an amazing, peaceful stay at the Aux Box and will definitely come back! 😃”
Welcome to our Muskoka Retreat. The complimentary Provincial Park Pass can be used between check in and check out times. Our property is surrounded by trees, on 3+ acres of forested land. The guest house sits above a newly built detached garage (2019), which is only used for storage. The decor is fresh and intimate, with warm wood accents. Our home is 75 feet away, where we reside year round. The guest house has private access, via a set of outdoor stairs. There is a dedicated parking space.
“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pam & Glenn’s. From the thoughtful touches (Glenn’s home baked caramel coffee cake and hand written anniversary card) to the overall space, every detail was better than expected. We loved the cozy decor and it had everything we needed to cook meals at home. We especially loved having the BBQ, as well as the screened in porch where we spent a rainy afternoon. The value at this place is great, as we have stayed in many Airbnb’s across Canada and we felt this space held the most value for the price of any we have stayed in. We used this as a base camp to visit Arrowhead and loved the park! Did some hiking and then swimming at the beach. Would definitely recommend visiting, and it was easy and free with the park pass provided with the rental. We will definitely be back to stay here again. We are already planning a little fall trip to see Algonquin in colour! Thanks so much!!”
The Cozy Front Porch Suite is located in a Century Home (Circa 1897), that locals know as the Four Corners House, (due to its odd shape you can see four corners of the house from the parking lot!) Situated in the small community of Utterson, this cozy 2 bedroom suite is perfect for families, friends, and couples.
“This place is as lovely as it sounds. Near the highway, but still has a country feel. Susan was a very gracious host and I appreciated the excellent communication and easy check in. The suite was clean and tidy and had everything you could need for a getaway. Definitely check out Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve as Susan suggests in the Guide Book! :) We will be back.”
