Nestled amongst the trees on our 52 acre farm in beautiful Chisholm township is our Chickadee Pod. Recharge your nature batteries in our off grid pod that comes fully equipped for your basic needs and right on Wasi Lake. Steps away you can enjoy canoeing, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking. Over 300 acres of privately owned land by the host plus over 700 acres of attached public crown lots accessible through private holdings, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts/nature lovers, as a launch pad into Algonquin Park, or as a quite retreat into the forest. This 325 square foot cabin was originally built as a hunt camp in 1955 and has been newly renovated to be modern and comfortable while still maintaining its vintage rustic charm. Come and unplug in this quiet simple space only 5 minutes from Ilfracombe beach. Many folk singer/songwriters have recorded in this cabin over the past few years and it is now being opened up as a quiet getaway.
