Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Hartwell

We had a lovely stay at Rhonda's place. She was very responsive to our needs. Easy drive to Clemson University. Place was clean and tidy. Went for some walks and checked out the surroundings, beautiful area. Even met some neighbors who were very nice. Highly recommend staying at Rhonda's home.

Beautiful, amazing and perfect for a getaway with friends or romantic stay. Architecturally stunning. Great example of mid-century modern with lots of cut outs, glass and details. Not for the mobile challenged (stairs and a bit of a walk from the car parking) and lots of glass (you give some privacy with other house mates) so if that is not your thing, I wouldn't recommend it. Very quiet except when you open the doors to the waterfall. First day, some water cascading over but after a rain it was all white and mesmerizing. Beds are small but very comfortable. I was able to cook some great meals and they had a lot of items you don't always have, like aluminum foil. Took the hosts recommendation for a vineyard (distillery was the highlight) and a stop in Toccoa, GA. Just book it and enjoy.

10/10 definitely recommend! This home is perfect for your next family gathering! Tina is amazing definitely would book again should I come back to that area!

Perfect home for a family or group. Very spacious and clean, fully stocked kitchen we cooked dinner every night! The dock was perfect for tanning and swimming, our daughters also loved the kayaks and paddle board. Very peaceful location. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a lake trip! We absolutely enjoyed staying at The Budding Bungalow. It was so nice having access to the dock to put our boat in. The view was spectacular for sunrises & the calm evening sunsets were beautiful. We will definitely stay here again.

We were in town for a baseball tournament at Fluor Field. Matthew's place was an easy walk to/from the field. It is a cute, vintage apartment and Matthew's description is very accurate. We used the noise machine and didn't have any issue sleeping. We had everything we needed for our stay.

House was as described and extremely clean. This house is a very easy walk down to Main Street. Adam was extremely responsive and helpful when I had any questions. Easy check in and check out.

The accommodations offered a commendable level of privacy, and the room was generously spacious, more than sufficient for my needs. This is the second time we have stayed with this host and plan on making it our yearly spot. Clean, well kept, easy to get in and out, and a great location that is far enough to be calm but close enough to all the major areas. Definitely recommend this host and location for your stay.

We had a very nice couple of days at William and Lori's place in Seneca. It was cozy and nice to have a place to come home to each day after our outings of touring waterfalls in the NW part of SC. Conveniently located to everything we needed including restaurants, the parks that we visited and grocery stores, etc.

I would definitely stay with Jennifer again. I traveled to Greenville to take an orchestra audition. Before booking I messaged Jennifer asking about my ability to practice at the studio. She responded quickly, giving me clear time parameters and even offered to allow me extra time at her place of residence if needed. This greatly helped with my confidence. I am super grateful to Jennifer for providing me with a space for what I needed. We were even able to take a nice evening walk in the beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. All in all, it was a great stay and would highly recommend!

The Hosts were very nice and welcoming as well as very respectful as well. We enjoyed our time together with them as well walking around the yard. I think their apartment is very well put together and we appreciate them with helping on the price as well as allowing us to check in early. We truly appreciate their supportive actions for our stay. This was a perfect place to stay for my nephew’s graduation from Clemson. The place was nice, clean and was a perfect distance to school. It was also walkable to the all the shops and restaurants around Clemson. Thank you for a great stay!!

We booked Benjamin’s place for my son’s graduation from Clemson. The four beds and two baths worked well for our group. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was clean and stocked with kcup coffee. Note: there are 44 steps up to the apartment and we picked up air fresheners because the place had an odd smell. If you’re taking an Uber, you have to walk out to the apartment complex next door for pickups.

Navina was very communicative with us. We enjoyed her place in Greenville. It was perfectly located and everything was walkable. The condo was clean, spacious and accommodated 5 adults and a one year old. I have been to Greenville numerous times and Navina’s place is somewhere I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place and extremely clean and had everything we needed. Right at the end of the strip to be able to walk to everything on Main St. Loved our stay.

Fantastic place. Very modern and up to date. Location was perfect. We were in town for a large wedding. Most of our party stayed in the marriott courtyard downtown. We were easy walk to them and even closer to all the great places in Greenville that we wanted to see.

Excellent location central & walkable to everything good downtown. Place was easy find & well lit up to the entry door. There are lots of garages (with EV chargers) in immediate proximity so parking & charging shouldn't be an issue. Room wonderfully comfortable with amazing bed/pillows. Water pressure in shower was great, and place was spotless. If you're a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs, host has excellent whitenoise machine by window if some noise doesn't bother. That's the cost of being near such a lively area. We'll definitely book again when needing accommodations in the area.

If you are looking for the full Greenville experience, this is the place for you. Conveniently located right off of Main Street with easy access to all the happening spots in town. The place was cozy and quiet with everything needed to enjoy your time in town.
