Such a beautiful home and place. We enjoyed the stay! The pool was by far our favorite just wish we had better weather to enjoy it further. Great customer service. We accidentally set the fire alarm off one night and she didn’t hesitate to message to make sure everything was okay.

Our host was so kind and for that I am so thankful! The home and property are beautiful. The kitchen is way better equipped than any other place I’ve stayed (at least 10 different ones) which is awesome if you love to cook like me and are there cooking a holiday feast! Y’all, no place will feel perfect because no other place is your own home but this place comes close. Ildi’s responsiveness and kindness are the icing on the cake. We had a simple and pleasant experience here at the lake house and that’s all that we prayed for.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday here over the weekend and we could not be more impressed with our stay! The house was beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. We are already planning a weeklong stay because we loved it so much! The host communicated and responded to our questions quickly!

Chasing Shade was exactly as described. We’ve been going to Reed Creek for over 30 years, so it was fun to stay near the SC part of the lake. The house is close to everything. Even though it’s on a busy road, it’s set far enough back and has a huge yard. We loved that it was dog friendly, so that we could travel with our labradoodle. The decks and dock have great views of the lake. Swimming and fishing right off the dock was perfect. We even caught some fish! The kitchen and house were well stocked with necessities and more. It was nice to have inflatables and beach towels. The beds were very comfortable. Overall - a solid 5 star property!

Great location on the water. Close to grocery stores and restaurants as well. Large dock and deck with lots of chairs/tables. Large house with lots of space to have privacy when wanted, but also hang out together. Weather didn’t cooperate so we couldn’t take advantage of the kayaks, marina or hikes in the surrounding state parks. There was a binder listing local restaurants and the local waterfall hikes available.

It was truly a wonderful stay! Super quiet and super clean. Would 100% stay here again in the future.

Great cabin! We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board which were easy to launch at the boat ramp down the street. Home had much more space than we thought which was a nice plus. Owners are very responsive and also provided good recommendations. The home is near (15-20 minutes) from Harbor Light Marina which is convenient for renting boats on Lake Hartwell. Awesome experience for my family of 6!

Very peaceful and cozy home. Super clean and well organized. Very good cookware, plates and utensils. Great deck and Lake view! The only thing I wished was that we had booked a longer stay. Time went way to fast! Just a heads up for those who bring a boat, it would be best to launch before you proceed to the property. It's a tight area with a trailer.

We had a wonderful time at Greens Cay. It was a great location on the lake and we felt comfortable and found everything we needed inside the home. I would definitely stay here again.

This house was Perfect! From the moment you arrive it's so peaceful! The view of the lake is second to none. The yard, dock and deck were our favorite places! (bring bug spray). The breeze and tree shade were perfect so it wasn't every crazy hot and the AC inside was AMAZING. The kids LOVED the zip line, going out in the kayaks with Dad, and fishing off the doc for HOURS. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable, nicely decorated and felt like home. Beds were very comfortable. House was stocked well and we enjoyed our time there very much. Very quiet and peaceful.

My family & I celebrated two birthdays & Mother’s Day weekend here! We had plenty of room to spread out & still enjoy being together. The private dock was a great place to fish. We kayaked & paddle boarded right infront of the house! Easy to get to- would book here again!

This was a great place to stay for a weekend at the lake. Really quiet location, perfect place to relax down by the lake.

We had a lovely stay in Lauren's home. You feel like you're living in the Brady Bunch house! Classic 1960s everything. The beds and seating were all very comfortable, and we enjoyed the abundant decks, the hammock, the kayak, the TV... the kitchen had everything you could want, and we appreciated the extra bag of ice and cans of sparkling water they left for us. We highly recommend it. If you're more noise-sensitive, we recommend the downstairs bedroom, which is insulated from the noisier/brighter open layout of the upstairs.

This was honestly the most relaxing stay we’ve had in a very long time. Everything was very easily accessible. The stay is great and the water was absolutely perfect. We used the paddle board and the water mat and had a great time on the lake. Highly recommended just don’t forget bug spray!

This Lake House was amazing!! The fishing off the dock was the best of any dock I have ever fished! We caught Striper,Large Mouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Hybreds, Channel Catsfish and a 45 pound Flat Head Catfish. I will be back next year again.

The place is amazing! It’s in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful lake views and morning visits from baby deer - you really can’t ask for a better spot to recharge from city life as a family. The house was spacious and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need (and more) for a comfortable stay. There’s also a tucked-away playroom above the garage with rocking chairs and a kids’ craft table, my boys absolutely loved it and spent hours building Legos while their exhausted parents relaxed on the beautiful deck at night. We didn’t have a boat, but still enjoyed the lake to the fullest, the hosts kindly provided a paddleboard and kayak. The walk to the dock was literally just two minutes, with a gentle entry into the lake that’s perfect for little ones, no sharp drops to worry about. The food in the area was hit or miss, but we highly recommend El Arriero at The Shores (fantastic Mexican food) and Grove Fork BBQ. We loved this place! Thank you for having us!

Our stay was fantastic! Stephanie was the most accommodating host we’ve ever had when staying with Airbnb. We spent the weekend celebrating my son’s graduation, fishing, kayaking and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

We spent our days fishing, swimming, and exploring the lake, making memories we’ll always cherish. The kids loved every minute of it, from casting their lines off the dock to roasting marshmallows by the fire pit.
