Cottage vacation rentals in Lake City

The Host was great stay in touch with us we didn't get to stay at the house due to it flooding 2 days before we got there the host gave us a full refund which was great we plan to book another visit to this house

We had a great stay! The lake view and porch were very relaxing. The dirt road was fine for my in-laws Prius and we had great internet the whole time in the cabin. There is no shower in the upstairs bathroom, but the tub was nice to bathe our child in. Overall the location was perfect for our needs as we have family in the area. Will be staying again. Gi was a very helpful and friendly host who responded quickly any time we needed something.

This little cabin was perfect! Clean, well-maintained and had a nice rustic feel. Not to mention the setting could not have been more peaceful. Julia was an excellent communicator and made me feel very comfortable and at ease with my stay.

Dawn is amazing! This was our second time staying here, and we have already booked it again. Her family also took the time to take us for a boat ride, and took my kids tubing, genuinely kind people. The lake could not be more beautiful. The house has a wonderful beach(this is not very common in Keystone Lakes), and my girls spent hours fishing and swimming. Highly recommend!

My friend and I stayed a couple nights at the Glass House so we could enjoy the nearby Rainbow Springs and Silver Springs. We felt right at home on the property and the home is cozy with a peaceful view. We sat each morning and evening on the back porch. Anabel is welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend for a nature getaway.

Absolutely beautiful accommodations and such a pretty area and neighborhood. so lucky we could bring our 2 dogs!

A perfect place for rest, quiet, sunshine, slower pace of life. My wife and I bicycle, the roads in the area are great for cycling- negligible traffic, respectful drivers. This cottage is close to the road for getting into town, it was perfect for cycling. There really is no ocean beach in Steinhatchee, the closest one is 17 miles up. There is kayaking on the river. Steinhatchee was hit hard by the last hurricane, not many stores/restaurants had fully recovered, but all were trying heroically. It's a fishing village and its main tourist season is in summer for scalloping. We were there in April so it was very quiet. The nearest bigger grocery store is 20-30 min away, so plan accordingly. There are smaller stores in town for quick items. The cottage is clean, it's cozy, and very comfortable. Jessica was excellent with questions, very quick to respond, and had good advice. We enjoyed our stay in the Big Bend area of Florida very much. Thank you for sharing your cottage, Jessica.

This was definitely my family’s favorite vacation we’ve been on so far. Aside from the amazing fishing we did, the Peach house and the neighborhood that it is in kept my entire family busy. The pool was great and my boys stayed in there as much as possible, all the games at the pool were fun, my baby girl loved the goats and chickens at the petting zoo, and I enjoyed the convenience of the boat slip and the boat ramp right next door to the property. This place is also located perfectly in my opinion with it being far enough from busy area that traffic and noise isn’t an issue but your still a 5 min golf cart ride to the restraunts and stores. We cannot wait to return to the peach house and hopefully stay a little longer.

clean and cozy place. quiet surroundings and plenty of room for your horses and dogs. stalls for your horses as well. you can have your live-in quarters here also. a hidden gem for sure!

This has become my favorite spot to rest in the state of Florida, absolutley beautiful and peaceful!

While I was in High Springs for work I know there are spectacular natural spring in the area. The house was very clean and private. Martin messaged me from the booking to the checkout. He was very attentive for any needs that may have came about. I had none but it sure felt good to know a quick message or call would have taken care of it. If ever there is a need for me in the High Springs area I will definitely stay here again. It’s a Great place.

The house was wonderful—super clean and stocked with lots of thoughtful amenities. I especially appreciated how everything was neatly labeled, which made it easy to settle in. The ping pong table was a big hit, and the kids never once said they were bored! It was about 20 minutes from Newberry, where my daughter had her tournament, so the location was very convenient. The home is tucked away, surrounded by lush greenery, and incredibly peaceful. The only downside was the number of insects. It’s summer in Florida and it had rained, so that’s to be expected, but there were a few large spiders that made their way inside. Other than that it was perfect for my family.

We really enjoyed Ken and Marylee’s cottage, very cozy with comfortable beds and plenty of pillows and towels. The cottage is bigger than I expected. The location is excellent, private and only 12 min drive to Devils Den. The hosts were very sweet to let us check out late and even had continental breakfast waiting for us in the fridge. Great experience, would love to come back.

This place is so beautiful! Sipping your coffee outside in the morning looking at all the trees was bliss. Gerardo is very kind and super responsive. A strong storm rolled through during our stay and blew a tree into the long driveway/road to the house. He had someone there within 30 minutes with a chain saw getting the road cleared. I feel like this was a “real” Florida experience and just what we needed to start off our summer. The main house is gorgeous and will bring more family with me next time for our stay and there will definitely be a next time!

This place is absolutely spotless and super close to downtown. If you are looking for a place with a ton of character… look know further. It has everything you need and it very comfortable. Mattresses are also crazy comfortable. Carolyn has another property we have stayed at which is why we chose this place. She is a trusted host that really pays attention to the details.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here while visiting family. We love the fenced in yard for our dog. We’ll be back!
