Keep an eye out for otters! It is a two hour float downriver to Poe Springs, Rum Island, and Blue Springs.

Rose Cottage at Alpaca Acres

Relax at this cozy, tranquil cottage on our small farm in the country outside Gainesville yet close to Santa Fe College, High Springs and Alachua. Compact cottage has a full kitchen and bath, queen bed, twin air mattress, indoor seating and outdoor picnic area. We have a few friendly alpacas, chickens, dogs, and assorted birds. Well cared for pets welcome, property is fully fenced. Great place to stay to explore the springs, go antiquing, or check out Gainesville's food, music and fun.

Welcome to our A-frame cabin, nestled in charming Old Florida Woodlands. It’s complete with two cots, a hinged wall/awning, fire pit, lounge chairs, a hammock, and a picnic table. From this soft pine-needled space, enjoy the view across the pond, go explore the seasonal garden, feed the fish, and meet our farm dogs. Mostly, enjoy ease and reconnection nature encourages. Due to severe drought this year, the pond is currently very low. However, you can still spot koi, bass, and brim. 🙏🏼

Beautiful serene 2026 remodeled home one mile from Ichetucknee State Park! Also close to Ginnie, Blue, Poe, Royal, and Little River Springs. Step outside with your coffee and enjoy the wooded neighborhood and river views. Large screened porch and well appointed open kitchen perfect for cooking. Beautiful, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home located on the historic Suwannee River. Get away from it all. Easy access to Fanning Springs (1.5 miles up river) and Manatee Springs (7 miles down river). Bring a boat, or two 2-person kayaks available for use. Great views from the deck and dock that overhangs the river. Very peaceful. Please note this is a rural area, it's wooded and can be dark. Get unplugged for a few days and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Suwannee River.
