Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lafayette

We loved the location because the house was very cool, had a fantastic view and the grounds were great. We liked walking our dog in the neighborhood. We live in Southern California in a similar neighborhood but some might find the drive to the house a little challenging but well worth it when you get there! We hope to stay again next time we visit our daughter.

Beautiful home right in the middle of the dipsea trail stairs - go up the stairs to reach great hiking trails, down the stairs for great restaurants and shopping. Comfortable beds, clean and cozy home, responsive and friendly hosts. Be aware of the somewhat challenging parking - bring the small car. Absolutely worth it, we’d love to come back!

We stayed in the upstairs unit which was bright & comfortably furnished. There is a cute outdoor space behind the house which is shared by guests in both units.

Gabriele is an accomplished artist and an animal lover. The apartment is replete with art on the walls and on the shelves. There are many many interesting books. The kitchen is very well equipped and the views from the lovely breakfast nook are wonderful. (Be careful or you’ll just want to stay in and read!) We appreciated the detailed instructions for using the appliances. And best of all, everything worked! We enjoyed this place immensely.

Awesome space in a very versatile area. Wish I could have stayed longer because it was a great base for all the things I was looking to do in the area. Will stay again.

Mel’s place was wonderful! Mel communicated with us prior to our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed and provided recommendations for local restaurants. She made sure to put the lights on for us because we were coming in late in the evening. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. Would highly recommend Mel’s place!

Jess' place is the cutest! Stayed for a week with my dog. It's a quiet neighborhood within close (3-5 mins) driving or 5-15 mins walking distance to a lot of fun spots (Prescott Food Hall, Lake Merritt, etc). Great bathroom, comfy bed.

Our stay at Lori and Mike’s place was absolutely fantastic, and Lori truly made it unforgettable. While Mike was away on a trip, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a comfortable, personalized experience. She checked in with us just enough to make sure we were all set and shared amazing local tips that really made our trip extra special. This home was in a great location in Clayton, close to tons of trails and a quick walk downtown. There was plenty of space in the home for several guests, and it was located in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very nice little apartment and one of our favorite places! The bed is super comfortable which was important to us. The kitchen is well-stocked, full refrigerator, and had a Keurig with coffee. We liked being away from downtown, but still conveniently located.

Our family had the most incredible weekend at Gina's beautiful home! First of all, a HEATED POOL makes all the difference, huge plus! We loved spending time in the backyard with so many beautiful outdoor areas to hangout with family, including your own private dock with a kayak! We were a little bummed the outdoor firepit wasn't working because we loved being outside so much but maybe next time. We hope to come back soon! We loved the big wooden table and big cozy couch for all 8 of us to enjoy time eating meals and playing games together! It was super convenient to have the grocery store just 6 minutes down the road as well. She was also extremely accommodating which made the stay even better!

Had an excellent stay with our family. Will is one of the best airbnb hosts we have ever had and would stay again at this home or any other home he hosts without hesitation. The cactus home is luxurious and has amazing amenities like heated bathroom floors, great outdoor space with pool and hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen.

This house is incredibly spacious and looks exactly like the photos. All of the linens are well organized and the kitchen had tons of counter space. The fireplace was dreamy in the kitchen and we loved the absolutely enormous television! Very, very soft beds as well.

David was a great host! He provided clear instructions for check in and accessing items around the house. The house itself was very nice and accessible. However, we were asked to start a load of laundry ourselves for the dirty towels despite being charged a cleaning fee. Other than that, I would recommend David’s home!

Casita in the trees is such a beautiful property, with amazing views. We enjoyed the pool and walks around the neighborhood. Melodie was quick at responding and super helpful with our questions. The pool was amazing and warm! We brought our dog and the dog kit was a perfect addition and made our dog feel welcomed! I highly recommend booking this listing and we’d be back soon!

We had a great stay at the cozy cottage! Such a beautiful location and a great fit for us, our infant (great blackout shades) and pup (nice fenced yard and porch). We’d definitely stay again!

Although my partner and I initially stayed here for practical reasons, we had such a delightful time we agreed we would enjoy returning here just to revisit the beautiful surroundings and the kindness of the host. Although the space, as advertised, is ideal for individuals, it was also really quite comfortable for a couple used to traveling and with a focus on study, meditation or career. From the stunning sunrises set to a chorus of beautiful birdsong to the hospitality of the host, our stay here was a great experience and we hope to return one day, just to have the opportunity to sit in this lovely and serene garden overlooking the beautiful valley and the hills beyond.

Stayed here with family. The backyard was our favorite part- we had a toddler in the group that could run around play while we hung out on the deck. House was beautiful and modern. The local area was peaceful, we saw lots of local wildlife on the hill which was fun to sit and watch with coffee. Highly recommend!

Excellent place, very close to almost everything one needs. Place was very clean and host was particular in provisioning for everything. Nathan was extremely responsive host.

Carmen and Sam were great hosts! Incredibly friendly and welcoming. They let us know about a farmer’s market on Sunday and Recommended a river if we liked the nature feel. Definitely recommend. Thank you again Carmen and Sam!

Will was one of THE most responsive Hosts we've ever had! His instructions were 100% accurate and timely. The setting of this home is just incredible - mountains all around and we were here at a time when flowers were in full bloom! Exceptional! Even a lemon tree in the front yard! Really enjoyed a special family time here.

Nice apartment, had a good kitchen. Was fairly quiet although for super light sleepers (like myself) I would still recommend ear plugs just in case. The host was very responsive and friendly. Can't complain!
