This is a charming stand alone cottage next to the main house with its own private entrance. You'll have access to an acre of garden which you are welcome to relax in. It has a full size fridge with a stackable washer dryer The property is 11 minutes from the Lafayette BART and 7 minutes from Walnut Creek town center by car. Briones Wildlife Park is less than a mile away. We have 4 cats and two small dogs. Pets are welcome but we ask for large dogs to be on leash. TESLA charging available.

Sweet Suite!

Our typical guest has grandkids or children that live in our area, is in town for work or is traveling from just about anywhere in the world. Guests have said they like being close to SF at a very reasonable price. We're a family home so you can hear our family when we are in the kitchen. The Sweet Suite is behind our kitchen. Our kids have grown up doing Airbnb so they work to be as quiet as they can when guests are in the Sweet Suite. There is no doubt you will hear us at some point.

We neighbor Walnut Creek and are close to Hwys. 24/680. We are a 5-8 minute drive to the Lafayette BART station. San Francisco is a 25 minute train ride and when there is no traffic a quick 30 minute drive to downtown SF (with traffic add another 15-20 minutes). CAL or St. Mary's College bound? We are about 15-20 minutes away.

The kitchenette has a common wall with our home, but the cinder block construction results in a quiet and private experience. this is now a new fave place to stay in the Bay, loved the view from the "overlook" and felt like I had enough privacy. Having a space to park in the driveway is a plus and the place is fully equipped for a great time. There was even wine for me and my partner. beautiful space and I had a great time - wish I could've stayed longer!

We had a great stay! Communication with Marcy was super easy, she always responded quickly and helpfully. The location is absolutely the best in Walnut Creek: a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, yet very central with everything within walking distance. The guest house is lovely, clean, fresh, and nicely secluded on the property. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything I needed. Highly recommended

The listing was exactly as shown, in great condition, very clean. When I thought I had an AC issue (I did not), the hosts were very responsive. The location is walkable to tons of restaurants and shopping. Would definitely book again!
