Boscau Manor, Louis IX

Our Manoir du Boscau is located in the Dordogne valley, opposite the majestic castle Castelnau-Bretenoux in the north of the department of Lot. The Manoir was built around 1450 by the Benedictine monk Gilles del Bosce, dean of the priory of the nearby Carennac. The estate consists of a private park garden with various terraces and seating areas surrounded by 10 hectares of forest and meadow, including a small private lake.

Relax in this small Lotoise country house outside the peaceful village of Rudelle. Reconstructed from a ruin to finally be transformed into a pretty little house made of exposed stones and beams. Although shops and restaurants are only a five minute drive away, the area is peaceful and secluded.
