Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lacapelle-Marival

Everything you hope for in a AirBNB/ Gite in France! We stayed one week with our teenage kids this October. The house is old but has every comfort needed including a large fire place and a washing machine. The atmosphere is right and every room is decorated in a unique way. The garden is large with lots of places to sit, lounge and a table to have breakfast, lunch and even a bbq for dinner. We spend lots of time in the hot tub and at the very nice heated pool. Pascale is a wonderful host, she waited for our late arrival, she had snacks and even breakfast for us to get started, she provided nice bathrobes and towels for the pool, had great local recommendations and was always available for a chat. The place is a little secluded but that was just right for us. Lot’s of fields and forests with plenty of wildlife, we did lots of long hikes with the dog. And for a visit to the market, a restaurant, castles, etc most places are less than 30 minute drive. Highly recommended!

A favorite for this house full of personality, in the image of its owner who gave us a thoughtful and professional welcome. Peaceful haven, within the Cantalian chestnut grove, full of walks around and pleasant jacuzzi on the way back...

If you're looking for a quiet oasis in the countryside, this is the place to be! The view is magnificent, the sunset a dream. The treehouse is comfortably furnished, in the kitchen there are the most important utensils so you can cook well at home. In the vicinity there are countless small tranquil villages, which are among the most beautiful places in France. In the preseason, some activities, such as canoeing, are usually not yet open, which did not bother us as we mainly focused on hiking and resting. Anne is a wonderful hostess - she was quickly available for questions and stopped by if necessary. Gladly again :-)

If we could give 10 stars, we would. It was just perfect. Patrick and Valérie are the warmest hosts who provided us with many great tips for excursions. The park with pool, which you can also use as a tenant of the vacation home, is an oasis of tranquility and beautiful. The apartment in the vacation home is very tasteful and super clean. We felt super comfortable and would come back at any time. The house is perfectly located to reach many sights, even by bike. We recommend the vacation home without restriction!

We had a lovely stay at Sue's in Tour du Faur. Ideally located for visiting the Lot Valley, the accommodation also allows you to rest and enjoy the pool in case of high heat. I highly recommend for a family stay with lots of amenities available for children

Murielle and Vincent are amazing hosts and people. Their story & that of the place is beautiful! They did a fantastic job creating this beautiful environment. They've created a true haven of peace. A great experience and meeting at Mas de Tourel. We highly recommend it, you can go there without so much as a second thought! Beautiful rustic house, quiet in nature. Perfect for or 4 people. Pool area totally private and secluded. Our hosts were responsive and welcoming. Our stay with them was very pleasant, I would recommend it. Marc

Perfect accommodation for a stay. Close to shops and highways, the house is close to nature. Sébastien is a welcoming host who puts you at ease, and meets our needs. The house is well arranged, clean and matches the photo. The proximity of a hiking trail at the bottom of the steps of the house is ideal for walks with an animal. We will go back without hesitation.

Awesome location, quiet and calm with a private pool. We loved it! Very friendly host Hugette. Closeby (5 min drive) you have a supermarket and local shops. Plenty of Nice sight seringen within a 30-40 drive. We can definately recommend it ❤️ Don’t forget to bring your essentials with you, in comparison with other Airbnb’s there’s a minimum to get up and running. We’ve left some coffee, dishwasher tabs, cooking oil, vinegar, pasta and rice for next guests. I hope this helps :)

I highly recommend Jean Yves's nice place. Located in a small village typical of the Cœur de Causse, quiet, we enjoyed our Lotois stay as a family. Jean Yves is the best, very welcoming, responsive, we will definitely be back!

Lovely hosts and beautiful, unique old house in tranquil, green, riverside location. We stayed with our dog for 4 weeks in May, we found plenty locally to visit/do/eat. Recommend the cheap bus rides from Larnagol: to Cahors and Figeac along the Lot. Veronique and Thierry were responsive when we needed help but gave us total privacy, very occasionally dropping in by arrangement to maintain the pretty garden. They speak better English than they think, too! Recommended 😁😁🐶

Mazet is very well-equipped and very clean, it is located in a quiet and beautiful place How beautiful nature is!! The owners are more than charming people We would highly recommend it .

Jacques and Isabelle's property is worthy of its title "haven of peace" A quiet place, full of charm and conducive to soothing after visits to heavily frequented sites.

An excellent stay. Our host Dominique was very welcoming and considerate. The accommodation was very clean and well-equipped, the bedding comfortable, a private space in front of the cottage that allowed us to enjoy the outdoors with our little dogs in peace; finally, the cottage is well located, just a few minutes from Rocamadour and all amenities; very beautiful villages to visit nearby and all the people we met welcoming to tourists, cherry on the cake: Dominique had 2 electrical terminals installed outside the cottage, which allowed us to charge in peace without worrying about finding terminals nearby; I recommend it without so much as a second thought!

Flawless accommodation and I recommend it. A little-known but incredible area, and a very nice Argentat village.

Just had the most amazing week here, the pictures really do not do the gardens and views justice!! Such a peaceful setting but with lots of sights and attractions near-by, however a car is essential. The gite had everything we could need to relax, wine and dine in an evening. The pool and view was lovely, just perfect to relax by after a day out exploring. We are already planning we we can return!

we had a great weekend with the family in Yan's "little house on the prairie". Available and welcoming host, flexible check-in and check-out times. Everything was perfect. Very beautiful area with lots of beautiful things to visit. I recommend it.

We had a lovely week at Émilie's cottage. It is very well located because close to pretty villages like Autoire, Loubressac, Carennac, Beaulieu sur Dordogne... and sites to see absolutely like the Gouffre de Padirac or Rocamadour. The cottage is in a beautiful quiet property. It has a terrace and the pool is great! The owner turns it on in the evening to swim in colorful waters on warm summer evenings. Beautiful view from the pool. The stairs to climb to the bedrooms are very steep on the other hand. The A/C is installed in the 1st bedroom which is very nice when it's hot but the 2nd floor room lacks a little freshness. The owners are very friendly and you can feel at home. I would recommend it.
