Perfect for a long weekend biking in the mountains with my husband and young kiddo! The space provides everything you need in a beautiful setting. James and Colleen made sure I had all the necessary info. It was a hot weekend in Quincy but the combo of the fans they provided and open windows did the job! The kitchen was also lovely as we mostly ate in.

I couldn’t have asked for a more magical stay at Luci and her husband’s cabin. From the moment I arrived, I felt transported into a serene snowy retreat. The cabin itself was impeccably clean, cozy, and filled with charming touches that made it feel like home. Nestled in the beautiful woods, the surroundings were breath-taking—a perfect winter wonderland. Luci and her husband were exceptional hosts—welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Whether it was the warm ambiance inside or the tranquillity of the snowy landscape outside, every moment was a joy. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful escape into nature. I can’t wait to return and experience its magic all over again!

We stayed for a few nights and had a great experience. Jesse was wonderful—he even welcomed us upon arrival, which was a nice personal touch. Although Downieville was mostly closed during our visit and a storm rolled in, this place was perfect for a relaxing few day. The balcony overlooking the valley with a perfect view of the river was such a great experience—peaceful and breathtaking. The river itself was loud and beautiful, and we were still able to get out for a hike and enjoy the scenery. A beautiful stay—we’d definitely come again!

Casey and Stacias place was great! Very easy check in with clear instructions. The cabin was so cute and cozy! Had a great stay and will definitely be back.
